Since I pulled myself out of the running for the 2003 H2, I've decided to get a 2004.

Question, is Hummer going to offer a black interior for the standard H2? I noticed photo's of the SUT with black interior. Does anyone know of any possibility of this color being available in the future for the regular H2?

Thanks!

I haven't heard anything of it making it into the SUV for 2005. All the documentation on the GM Media site only mentions Black Interior in the SUT. BUT - they haven't said much about the '05 SUVs yet so we'll have to wait & see.

DRTYFN 12-29-2003 06:27 PM

Well you've got a whole year to come up with a new reason why you didn't pull the trigger on an '04.

MMPH2 12-29-2003 06:31 PM

I'd hate to get an '04 in March when I could have gotten BLACK interior on an '05 in October.

If nothing is in the works for the black interior, then I'm going with the new one in March. (Have 2 cars to sell in the meantime)

DRTYFN 12-29-2003 06:45 PM

Well there you go!! You've already got the hang of making excuses why you're not buying an H2. And the selling your other cars is a good stand buy just in case the black interior becomes available.

Dan 12-29-2003 06:46 PM

The 05's are due out late spring/early summer. June is the last I heard, and is what I base my sig line on.

Dan is right. I heard the 04 model year for all Hummer's H1, and H2's is going to be short. The 05 H2 is due out before the normal car model year comes.

So if you buy in March your truck will be 4 months old to you when the 05's come out.

DRTYFN 12-29-2003 08:02 PM

You better hold off until '07 just to make sure.

MMPH2 12-29-2003 08:58 PM

Thanks for the input guys...

DRTYFN...geez...just asking a question about the interior options. Take it easy on me, I'm new here.

DRTYFN 12-29-2003 09:56 PM

I AM taking it easy on you for being wishy-washy. Interior color was also a concern of mine when I was ordering my H2. But after seeing it, sitting in it and driving it I decided it wasn't enough of an issue to postpone my purchase. Besides, black will show every bit of dirt and mud that gets tracked in.
If you're gonna wait for tomorrow all the time life is going to pass you by.
So go put on a pair of pants and go by one already. And stop being so delicate.

Spike 12-29-2003 10:28 PM

I agree with DRTY.......Pull the F@&king trigger already!!

I generally buy black on black on black, but in the Hummer's case, it doesn't matter at all. I like the tan or wheat or gray interior, more pleasant airy and bright. The lesson learned here for car company is not to give people too many choices, people are too picky and fuzzy. Just make H2 in one color and one interior, black on black. You don't like it, don't buy it. That way, all you dudes who bought the wrong colors(any color that is not black) would not be driving a H2 today, you all would be in Jeeps and trolls attacking my Hummer and my Hummer shall be the proud and few. I'll spit on you and your Jeeps when I pass you on the road.

drouke 12-30-2003 01:04 AM

anyone know if we can get that steering wheel insert? And I want that black interior.

DRTYFN 12-30-2003 01:25 AM

Call your parts dept. I vaguely remember it being somewhere around $3500 give or take a G.
It was REALLY nice. I actually thought about it for awhile.

MMPH2 12-30-2003 02:24 PM

Duramax Tim...got your message and sent reply.

DRTYFN & Spike...take in some oxygen.

I can't "pull the trigger" until I sell my other 2 cars. I just had a question about the interior. (You guys act like I've been posting messages about getting an H2 for the past 2 years)

DRTYFN 12-30-2003 03:26 PM

Sorry drouke, that's for the leather upgrade.

MMPH2, no... we've just seen your type before and we're just trying to motivate you to get off your can and get an H2 while you're still young.

I can appreciate that...thanks!

Guess I won't be asking any more questions about different options available for '05. I'm going out there and getting an '04.

I've already started talks with Lynch Hummer in St. Louis and DURAMAX TIM might have something for me to take a look at.

And in October they will announce that there will be upgrades to the 06's and then you'll wait for that and then the 07's and so on. Your trying to find excuses to not buy one.

Note:GM just announced the 2019's will have Rocketdyne/Rockwell International main jet engines, solid rocket boosters and heat resistant tiles. They will be capable of manned space flight. Damm I should have waited.

Let me repeat, pull the ****in trigger already, while we're young and goodlooking....well young anyway.

Spike 12-30-2003 04:15 PM

yes...very handsome......NOW GO BUY A TRUCK!!!!!

Everyone looks better in a yellow H2. Is that what your looking for, yellow? If so a black interior would be the move for a yellow truck all trimmed out in black.

Is there any other color for an H2? (oh no...don't mean to start a fight with all you black/pewter/white/orange/green/red owners.)

My H2 is going to be yellow.

Why, oh why do people drive H2s that are the color of urine? All I can think of when I see a yellow H2 is PEE-PEE rig.

Spike 12-30-2003 04:48 PM

Originally I was in the market for poop brown. But as that was not available I had to settle for the urine yellow. My third choice was cum white.

Maybe it's a trick of the light, but you look like you've got a four and a half head going.(Getting close to a fivehead)

Give the poor guy a break. Maybe he's just too tall for his hair.

Actually, it's probably just sliding down onto his back.

Don't you guys get sick of the Yellow? I mean it's cool but after 2 weeks ... yellow gets old. Tha's why I got cum White

Jesus, do you guys ever quit? I just got a hair cut because my wife didn't like my long hair.

Far from going bald...my father and grandfather still have a full set of hair. Just because you guys are going bald, don't take it out on the young guy.

Lastly, I doubt it a modeling agency would ever hire a "balding" 27 year old...so EAT IT!
