Wow -- those 20" wheels are excellent.
|
Looks great
|
How much did you pay for the whole set?
|
F Firm, he knows nothing, they look perfect. I am glad I bought the 305 55 20 same size tires. Wheesl should be here Thursday...

Twinkies? LOL Nice
How bout some a dem derr Jeff Gordon's (24's) |
How much did they weigh down the truck? Was the acceleration greatly affected?
|
that looks sweet!
|
Drives just like stock but a little better. It has less "sway" turning. These tires are even as quiet as stock.

Hey, I know that hummer builder posted this before in another thread but I can't find it. What is the factory rim and offset? I think I recall 16X8 on 6X6.5??
Basically I am looking for a nice pair of aftermarket rims that keep the stock offset and geometry. Any info on the bolt pattern (either metric or english) and offset would be great. Thanks, Dennis |
The OEM wheel is a 16x8 size and a 6x5.5 bolt pattern with a 0 (zero) offset.
The wheels I have on now are a -30mm offset which is why they stick out so much =) So, you are looking for a wheel with a 6x5.5 bolt pattern and with less amount of negative offset as possible if you dont want them to stick out any. <BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">Originally posted by MisterE: Hey, I know that hummer builder posted this before in another thread but I can't find it. The offset is plus 30 on the factory wheels... Not "0"
|
Thanks guys!
BTW Yours looks great bparker!!! I would love to do the same setup. However, I'm a two year lease, and while I'm 99% that I go H3 again (hopefully they will have a turbo out by then) but I don't want to put a bunch of cash into rims and tires if I decide to get an (or can afford) an H2. |

What is a roog rack?
|
A "roog" rack is a invite only special dealer ordered rack that is very limited production by GM. And I will be the only one to get a roog rack this year.

In fairness to the dealer they did give me a good chunk of money to help get out of my other GMAC lease that didn't qualify for the Pull Ahead Program. Intersting side note, I knew I was going get screwed on the last lease. I knew the the H3 would be out about this time and the 2 year lease was going to be too short and the 3 year too long...although I must say I cut it pretty close! |

The spare will work fine as all tires are 33" tall.

Total GMS price of vehicle was 29840. I asked about two and three year leases and they told me with the residuals this was one of the few times you came out ahead on a two year lease. (Typically the extra deprection isn't that much compared to the fact you are adding tweleve payments). Boy you made my day saying that I got a deal so I guess we are even. I had put a 500 (refundable deposit) down last July and kept in touch with the dealer (which I think helped) but I really was impressed by the dealer! Please feel free to ask any other questions! Any information I can provide to help out other forum members I will! P.S. On a totally unrelated note I have to say this is the BEST sunroof I have ever seen! It is so large it almost feels like a convertable! |
E, thanks for the info. I do think you made a great deal. By far the best rate I have heard of yet. That is amazing that a 2 year lease is better than a 3 year

Sweeeeeet!
There is a custom tire / wheel shop here in salt lake that will give you top $$ on factory tires / wheels when you trade in on new one's. I'm heading over there the day I get my H3.. SEE YA! JP'S-H3 |
Hello everyone and thanks for the info! New to the forum and the Hummer world and hope to get my first one by Christmas
![]() It has been great reading all the info and experiences of everyone. Bparker, had a question for you or others that may know: How do the 20’s perform when off-roading? I would like to get me a “sick pair of rims like yours ![]() Thanks again and nice pics! BUKHUM |
Drives just like stock but better in some ways as it corners like a car now. No sway or lean to it at all.
Off road: I would have to say about the same for my type of offroading. The only thing that will hurt me is if/when I ever want to "air down" my tires for extra grip on rocks. I dont have as much side wall flex to wrap around rocks. But again, this really doesnt bother me at all as even when I had my Jeep I never once needed to air down the tires for grip with a rear locker. =) <BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">Originally posted by BUKHUM: Hello everyone and thanks for the info! Those rims and tires look AWESOME! I want to get a set of Black Helo Maxx 6 rims and some tires on my H3...however with the H3 not really being mine (it is the wife's) it might be hard to get approved. Hopefully showing her pictures of yours will make it easier.
Great looking H3!! |

Mr. Parker:
Now THAT is one nice rig!! I like the fact that you don't have the chrome package, too. IMHO, that would be TOO MUCH. You've definitely got the right mix. Well done bro, well done......... ![]() |
Why thank you sir, and I must say I am pretty fond of her myself =)

Thank you !

That's a bad @ss truck bparker. I was on the website a couple of months ago trying to decide between off-road and marker lights. Since they won't be in for a while, I guess I can keep thinking about it.
|
Well the marker lights serve no function and the off-road lights do... so it was a no brainer for me.
But I will admit: after having the roof lights mounted I have alot of wind noise =( <BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">Originally posted by firm: That's a bad @ss truck bparker. I thought the marker lights made you more visible, while the off road lights were only use off-road and at night. I figured you would use the marker lights more. How often do you use the Off-road lights? I was concerned that the off-road lights might decrease gas mileage, since you said that they have a lot of wind noise, I think this is the case. |
The marker lights will make you more visible but on top of that they look great. Personally, I am going to go with the marker lights because I don't see myself using the offroad lights much. They also make it look to much like a Liberty to me. Just my 2 cents
