Thanks drty. Titantv.com describes it this way:
Quote:

An examination of the Hummer includes its military use. Included: a brief history of the vehicle is given by Craig MacNab, director of public relations at AM General in South Bend, Ind., which manufactures it for the U.S. Army.

I think it's just a show about a "nation" of Homo's that bought a slightly different looking Tahoe and gave it worse gas mileage and ****ty four wheeling capabilities.......:p

Someone else said it, I'll just repeat it.

I know it's a jeep (cheep) thing, that's why I drive a Hummer!:p :D
Enough said.

Now GFY!

I liked it. Some great offroads clips...they dissed on the H2 a little, but overall, not too bad. I like how they commented on the H3 being a girl's vehicle..... :)

Finally watched it tonight. :D :D

Caught a glimpse of some of the NCHG guys in the snow shots. Pretty cool.

And I think the H1 with the tube doors was Shawn from Angry Iron?

Anyone recognize anybody else's truck in the show?

Adam in CO 06-02-2006 03:08 PM

Re: HUMMER NATION on The Travel Channel Tonight

I saw my truck at the very end of the show (missed it) from the Moab trip in April of 05. It was the Angry Iron H1 you saw, but it was not Shawn driving it. He lent it to the IMV movie crew (http://www.torquenstein.net/movies/imv/IMVFilms-Moab-LikeNothingElse-Preview.wmv) for that week and they TRASHED it. I saw that it is airing again this weekend sometime and I set up the DVR to catch it.

Don't you have somewhere to go tomorrow night? Like Starz or something?;)

Gotta set up to tape that show. Was planning on watching the original airing, hubby decided to slice through our cable while relandscaping the backyard.

3 days + no internet + no tv = sucks.

I don't think my pastor would approve.:D

So after watching that show last night, I decide to run by the Hummer dealer today to look at the flame red pearl H1 Alpha wagon(just for sh*ts & grins). I call down to see if it's there only to find out my buddy just sold it.:( Maybe that's a good thing - I was starting to feel weak.:D

I think my DVR got it, but I neglected to check and forgot to watch it. Wasted a few hours of my life with "Capote" instead this weekend.
