Nice lookin' truck!! I did just about the same thing... Went to the dealership looking at a used black wagon (exactly like yours by the way) and ended up buying a new red open top. You're going to love it!! :) BTW - What color interior does yours have (black and brown -or- all black)?? |
Re: Harley's Alpha
the interior is all black. We traded in my pewter 2003 4dot for this one...
much nicer w/ the new motor & transmission!! K |

Hey h2cp!! That THING is an OU mascot I tie wrapped to the guard just for the dirt & mud... K (...and yes, the wife is pretty cool... she even 'camped' out in a cabin last year at Sturgis!!) |

The used wagon I considered had the black/brown interior, but I liked the all black much better. Plus, I'd already had a pewter 2002 wagon before, so I thought I'd go with the open top this time. So far I love it!! The new motor and interior really are much better. |

Re: Harley's Alpha
I take it you traded Sturgis this year for the Alpha;)
So, when's the next Oklahoma X club event? Have you guys ever been to the place in Clayton? |
Re: Harley's Alpha

Sturgis, did you say "STURGIS'?? I know, I have webcams all over the computer watching the goings on there... just too much to do here this year. I used to hunt around Clayton, I'll have to do a little snooping to see about the wheeling there. You have any info on it? ...as far as the X events, we kind of stalled out this summer, I think we're all a little busy! K |

There are trails for stock vehicles to the most extreme 4x4 out there. Go prepared and go with a friend. You don?t want to get stuck on these trails alone. Re: Harley's Alpha
Some guys from our local Jeep club went up there around the time we went to K-rocks with the Texas X-clubbers and they liked it.

Re: Harley's Alpha
jeez... we traipsed all through there when I was a kid...
I'll check it out and let you know!! The last time I was in that neck of the woods was in 1969 in a '64 Beetle with all our hunting gear on top of the car... we camped in a GP Small tent and it rained... my brother stuck all the Chiquita Banana stickers on the ceiling of the tent... when our dad saw what he had done he ripped both of us a new one... so my bro pulled them off..... wrong move... oh, the memories of Clayton... |
