I bought this grill from h2sin. See post:

http://elcova.com/groupee/forums/a/tpc/f/4616043161/m/4...301045161#1301045161

Sent him a check and asked him to UPS it on my UPS account. The creep sent it alright...UPS RED A.M. Delivery. 45 lbs in a huge box. Cost me $135.00 in shipping ratehr than $30.00 if he'de had shipped it ground. Got in touch with him and he tells me "oh man...sorry my bad" and offers to refund part of my money. Still stung but thought he was trying to may it right. 2 weeks now NEVER HEARD BACK FROM HIM!!!! Too late to stop payment on the check. Watch out for him...a looser and a thief! I've sent him several PM's but no response. My fault for trusting a fellow H2 owner.

Hopefully he'll read this and try to make this right. If so...I take back all the bad things I said.
This is the guys name and address. Any help in locating a phone number will be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!

I'm still waiting on Payment from Dallion for a rear bumper guard.

And Monstermatt was going to buy my tube steps, but then stopped responding and tried to buy them elsewhere. He didn't even have the balls to say he didn't want them.

Losers.

OTOH, I've had great luck with everyone else including Phil, Timgco, DRTY, Dennis, Rodster, Frank and more.

That's because he said he wants whomever to send them to him before he sends the money.

Agree. I've sold hundreds of sets of tube steps with no problems.

HummerNewbie 03-07-2006 06:55 PM

I have made one purchase from someone on this board and it went great. The item actually just showed up a couple or hours ago.

Vincent 03-07-2006 07:10 PM

Thanks Newbie!

He should have sent the grill via UPS Ground instead of the AM delivery. Overnight delivery is way more expensive! If he's legit, he should reimburse you for the extra $105 in shipping

HummerNewbie 03-07-2006 07:26 PM

No, thank you Vincent.

I agree, he should reimburse the shipping. I also bet it wouldn't have happened if it wasn't being shipped on your account James.

Racer-X 03-07-2006 07:35 PM

I've had a few transactions here. Everyone trusting one another (payment and product passing in the mail) with Zero issues.

Always going to be a few bad apples and it's always good to shake them out of the tree.

James, I came really close to buying that grill. Sorry for your misfortune.

JamesT 03-07-2006 07:39 PM

I have changed my mind about installing it so its back on the market now. it is in perfect shape. I just didnt care for the white on while look after all.

That was my thought. I like the look without a brush guard but I couldn't decide how it would look on an adventure package. Do you have adventure package and did you install it?

Sure...kick a man when he's down!

DDWH 03-07-2006 07:44 PM

James, that brings the sucky! You like to be able to trust people and then you get burned.

On the other hand...I bought a 3rd row seat from RIC-H2 aka RIC-HO now.....Was very smooth and the seat was perfect!

Good thing he never PM'd me about my steps. So far everyone I did business with went good. Expect one guy that backed out of a deal. But he told me he was going to.

JamesT 03-07-2006 07:45 PM

I LINE Xed my chrome one and like the look. Looks real good with black brush gaurd and 4 WARN lights mounted.

Ya, I'm kinda rethinking this. Maybe I'll buy your white one, try it, if I don't like it I could Line-X it. If I don't like that either I probably wouldn't have a hard time selling it here. Let me think about it. I'll PM you soon.

Racer-X 03-07-2006 08:19 PM

Man that looks great! Never seen it on white before. I'm doing it. Unfortunately (for the sake of selling your grill) those pics took the fear out of me and I feel confident doing that to my chrome grill.

JamesT 03-07-2006 08:19 PM

Some did both!
