New member & hummer owner!
1 Attachment(s)
I'm excited about finding this forum! I bought a black 06' SUT last week. I am having a hard time deciding if I should add chrome or black accessories? Any suggestions would be helpful.

Re: New member & hummer owner!
Hey there,
Welcome; its always nice to see another black H2 thats from texas. I'd go Chrome, nothing like a black hummer with chrome, just ask HummBob |
Re: New member & hummer owner!
Gotta have a hummer if you live in Texas. Actually...just gotta have one! :jump:

Re: New member & hummer owner!
Where's the bikini contest? Blonde, 5'5'' & 115 lbs. ....and looks pretty good in a bikini, but I rather keep the photos for the hummer! Anyways, I'm new to this forum I don't want to reveal everything all at once...

Re: New member & hummer owner!
Welcome! :D
I can't believe nobody's suggested this yet ---- BLACK CHROME!!! ;) |
Re: New member & hummer owner!
Welcome,
Chrome or black, it looks fantastic! |
Re: New member & hummer owner!
Welcome!:)
Start with a black wrap-around brush guard. You never know when you'll encounter a deer on the highway...it is getting to be that season. |
Re: New member & hummer owner!
welcome, go black and have fun with your new hummer.

I must take exactly the opposite stance lest i let you down, phil. Black is for people who are trying to avoid animosity from other drives or 'wheelers and hide from the bling-bling image. I mean, its stressful when jeepers are mean and all. So chrome = flaunting, yes, but black = hiding in the corner. ;) (that was a joke :) ) And in the end, blacking out a vehicle and chroming it up are peas in a pod. Modification of a vehicle to stand out or gain a look that suits whatever. in all reality, i really don't give a rats what anybody elses truck is like, but i consider it my civic duty to counter manliness at all turns. this post was meant in good form, and not in ill. |

Re: New member & hummer owner!
This helps thanks! I am going to order some wheels and tires this week and I need to make a decision on that. I pretty sure I want to go with 22's.

Re: New member & hummer owner!
Your decision is actually quite simple. If you want it to look like the hard core offroad tactical urban assault vehicle that it is, go black.
If you want it to look like pimp daddy's ride, go chrome. Next question. :dancingbanana: :) |

laboratory tests consistently fail to demonstrate that chrome causes loss of offroad ability. :p |
Re: New member & hummer owner!
Okay..maybe I might stick with 20's. I have one other question. What is the option on a leveling kit? My husband sells these and is itching to put one on, but I'm not sure.
|
Re: New member & hummer owner!
congrats and welcome:D
Leveling? Hummers weren't designed to be level, want proof take a trip to Moab you'll be hard pressed to find one sittlng level... LOL:D |
Re: New member & hummer owner!
okay....thanks... he did that to my tahoe and it was fine but I wasn't sure about a hummer.
