I am doing some laundry while playing a little nintndo and having some coffee.

Going to brunch in a minute or two. My roomate and I have alot of work to do on the garage today, so when we get back thats top priority.

From there I've got to rebuild a carb for a buddy, do a little work on the rig, and fix a blown hose on my car.

I saw the Saddam conviction as well. The first thought in my head was "oooh, I hope the hanging gets taped I want to watch it". :OWNED: I've never seen someone get hanged before, seems like something you need to see at least once in life. :beerchug:

Other then that I've been sick as a dog since tues. I'm finally feeling a bit better, my strep throat is clearing up. When I went to my doc I had to see his nurse practioner (sp) and she would not give me the good cough meds, so now I've lost my voice. Hoping for an early bed time tonight and REAL cough syrup tomorrow.

Through a buddy, or a dealership? No dealers are open here on Sundays. :( I see there's a new Silverado in town at the Chevy dealership. Looks really nice!!

I'm going to hang out with my g/f today, and go shopping for foodstuffs at Costco. I should really wash the H2, but it's too cold outside!

Just had the killer brunch buffet, I had eggs benedict, a buttload of crispy bacon, a cheese blintz, a blueberry muffin, some asparagas and fondue strawberries. I can't move- watching the game.

Another birfday partey today.

My wiper blades won't shut off and when I turn on my rear wiper, it keeps spraying the water. So I'll be fiddling with it for a few. I think I'll take it in tommorrow.

Laying out all the XMAS lights! Gonna start putting them up during the week.

Waiting to see if Texas is actually going to be run or not. And avoiding the hubby.....bad day in the football world, CP knows.

Spent the morning recovering from the ILs visiting yesterday. They only come by 2x a year, but it's traumatic. The woman doesn't stop talking. EVER. I must have downed at least 12 Tylenol. This is the last year we can shuttle them off to a hotel too. We're buying a bigger house in the spring....dangit. Maybe we just won't tell them our new address. :jump:

Finished taking down the last of the Halloween stuff, it's boxed and waiting to go in the attic. I have about 3 weeks of relaxation now before we get out all the Christmas stuff. This is a good time of year tho, I love the fall months.

Currently waiting for a mouse to die as well. Caught a really big one in a glue trap yesterday in the garden. It's still alive and I don't want to mess with it. It was going after my lettuce, so it deserves to suffer. I think we should do that with Saddam - put giant glue traps in his cell. That would rock.

Recovering. I had a severe beatdown last night on the last hand.

$1-$2 Pot Limit Hold 'Em I flop 4 to a flush and straight. Someone pots it, a couple callers and I repot wanting to take it down right then. Damn if I didn't get 2 callers! Hummm...

Sure enough, I fill up with a Q high Straight Flush!!! I'm holding 8-9 of diamonds!!!! I slow play to let the others put some cash in before I pull out the all the stops.

Early position bets the pot, the other guy folds, I pot it, then it's potted twice more. The River turns a blank so we pot it out until all my cash is in the pot. WEEEEeeeeee!!!!!

We flip our cards as I joyously proclaim my Q high Straight Flush...

Then Steve turned over A-K diamonds and raked the pot!!!!!

DAMN!!!!

Had another shot and beer, cashed everyone out, came in the house and went to bed.:o

Harvick, his wife and a NASCAR official were pushed to the ground by members of Riggs' team. Delana sprained her ankle, Harvick is ok, and the official broke his ankle.

While Harvick is very aggressive, he didn't hit Riggs and NO ONE deserves what happened to them anyway. Hell, you NEVER go after a woman physically.:mad:
