JUST BOUGHT, PICKUP TOMORROW -- PROBLEMS?

ok, so i played three card monte and went for the '07 h3. now i'm sure this has been dealt with, but i'm too lazy to look for individuals posts so -- how are the stock tires -- i live in the country/suburbs of sothwest ct. so we get snow, rain, ice, all that good stuff. what kind of gas mileage should i expect initially. can i use 87 safely and efficiently. jeesus, i just founf the raer windows dont frickin roll down -- my dawgs'll freak. ****! and i thought the rear view windows were heated....didn't do enough of my d&d. but it is one cool looking mutha. so if y'all can answer my questions, and add any other pros and cons for a new NON-OFF ROADER, but just a macho poseur, let 'em rip. also, is this a babe magnate. i hope so. and if any babes wanna join in with answers, shoot!!!!
TIA

Use 87 fuel, that is what it is designed to use.
Bridgestone tires on the Off-road are good.
Wrangler tires on the standard model...not as good

I'll go first! PICTURES!!:jump:

Welcome aboard. At my age, if they aren't in a walker, I'm flattered, but I get more attention in the H3 than I did in the Vette...go figure. But, that could be a regional thing, too. Have fun. Do take it off the road now and then. That's what it was built for and does best.:beerchug:

if your just a phoser the street tires are fine :p but if want to run over a little bigger stuff get 35's :giggling: 85 octane works great for me , not as good as 190 proof everclear and the after taste sucks :OWNED:

Did you get the Adventure package?

Get a cover for your rear seats and you dogs can ride on the back seat and enjoy the windows.

Neocon1 correct me if I'm wrong, but o7's cant run any tire larger than a 33"

HUMMJAY 12-05-2006 07:18 PM

Re: JUST BOUGHT, PICKUP TOMORROW -- PROBLEMS?

from what I understand the o7 H3 can not be reprogramed for larger tires.

got the lux pkg...the dogs like the windows rolled down so they can bark at horses, cows and other dogs. boy are they going to be disappointed, but my hearing will be restored. btw, maybe you can answer this -- or someone else can, what was the moronic decision behind having windows that dont roll down. JFC every f*****g thing today involves a stupid compromise. so is there any intelligence behind having windowes that dont roll down that i don't see?. my wife's gonna freak when we pick up the car today. never even thought about the rear windows until read it here. amazingly stupid imo.

Ummmm.... which windows don't roll down? Is this something they did to the 07s?

Also - F5 - are there specs anywhere that show the difference in mpg, horse, etc, in running 87, 89, and 92 octane?

Thanks! :dancingbanana:

I think he is talking about the side rear windows in the cargo area. Not on the rear doors.

What side rear windows roll down, though. Even in minivans, only a few pop out.

nychot - Paragon's Great Grandmother played with his pee pee when he was a little boy and has affected his outlook on life in general. You just have to learn to ignore him. If you search and wait long enough, he does post something informative, at times.:beerchug:

Hey, RYD!

Just how do you think I managed to survive 23 years in the Air Force! :excited: You just have to consider the source. Please excuse my Latin, but I think it goes something like this:

Nil carborundum illegitimo.

Don't let the bastards wear you down!

Besides, anyone with over 23 thousand posts is either REALLY desperate to make himself heard or has figured out a way to hack the posts total softwqre.:D In any case such a person has WAY too much time on their hands! And, with that much time such a person should find something more useful for their hand or hands to do!:dancingbanana:
