Big Storm Coming
 

I know some of you guys are experiencing record heat in some parts of the Country, butwe are bracing for a big storm that is supposed to dump over a foot today on the Valley floor.
Yes, snowmobile is loaded and ready for our Sunday ride. Is is just now starting to come down!:D

Dang it, normally even here in FL we get some cold days, we had 2!
85 is predicted today in Cocoa Beach. ugh!

man 85 is hot in January, I like the cold weather, since I am near the Canidian border it stays cold here, the high today 29, and next week it is predicted below 0 temps.

Yeah man, I wish just for a week (at least) that we could have some cold wheather. They say that next Wed. it may get 64 as our high and 46 as the low.
I am having a fire in the fireplace no matter what Wed night...

I was wondering earlier this afternoon if the snow was falling over there yet :D

Those hoping for a calm day in terms of the wind won't be so lucky. Great Falls is under a high-wind warning from noon today until 5 a.m. tomorrow.

Jackson said to expect sustained winds in the 35-40 mph range, with gusts much higher than that.

"It's entirely possible we might get up to 70 miles per hour or so," he said.
Areas along the Rocky Mountain Front between Choteau and the Canadian border could see gusts upwards of 100 mph, he said.

All I know, and it is already bothering us in FL, is that we are going to have a very hot and very dry spring and summer, which equals alot of major fires and storms.
A few years ago it seemed like all of FL was on fire. that sucked.

Lol, I love it! The colder the better. Also, the cold weather keeps a lot of people away, or this area area would look like everywhere else.

It may look cold, but it is hard work, and I am usually sweating.

Forest Service all the way to the mountains, then the Bob Marshall Wildnerness. just North is Glacier Park and Canada.

Here is a picture of Flathead Lake, which is about 5 miles away from me, it is the largest natural body of water West of the Mississippi, Has an island that is 2400 acres and is a state park, Wild Horse Island. This is from the west side looking Esat, I am on the East side by the mountains
