If you were in your vehicle and this mob descended on you what would you do? I know what I'd do, but in case of a future incident I'll remain silent.:shhh:

Ok, let's say we were writing a script for a movie - what would you have to main character do?:jump:
First, I'd have him blow a hole through the head of the first gangsta to stick his head into the vehicle with the intent of causing bodily harm. If a second or third thug was needed to punch up the script a bit - then so be it. Then the main character would stand on the gas and take out every thug that stood in the path to safety.:fdance:

OK for me and just to punk arse like that on notice, I am not writing a novel or a movie script. I run ya arse down even after I shot ya.

I don't play that Shiat. And if itwere someone else that was happening to, I would ignore my anger managment teacher and proly would let my road rage come back and even help the person in trouble.

Well... first of all, in my movie... the main character wouldn't be driving through the uncivilized areas of the United States unless he wanted to get away with murder. But let's say he ended up in an area such as that. He would probably bring out some orange drink to settle the crowd down and ask them why they are destroying everything, especially since they own nothing themselves. Then he'd kidnap about 4 of them to help print off and pass out flyers for no pay. The flyers would be part of his plan to trick the whole uncivilized population into a cargo ship by telling them their reparation checks for slavery are in there, then sending them back to the mother land!

Makes me sick just to imagine my rage if they tried that with my wife and boys inside. Ya, prison would be worth it if I ended up killing dozens to protect the safety of 3 family members.

What sucks is how the media would be if you did hit the gas and mowed them down. Showing crying and injured (Hopefully dying) fawkers saying how crazy the driver was and why this had to happen to them.:o

Most states have a clause in their self-defense laws in regard to "disparity of force" that allows a legally armed person (some states allow an illegally armed person), to use a weapon if they are attacked by a number of people even if they are not carrying weapons.
All the person has to do is reasonably fear for their life. Well, if twenty people run up to your vehicle and attempt to drag you outside, then exercising your rights is totally legal. (In other words, shoot five, the rest will run like hell, or pull out their own weapons.) You can easily consider it a carjacking, and if one of those thugs is armed, then it can be a Federal offense.
I would have NO problem shooting a few of those bast*ards since it will be doing society a favor. These people in this video, in my opinion, have no right to live.:D

I think most states don't require you to be attacked at all. As you say, you need only reasonably fear for your life. There are countless scenarios where you would do so even if the opponent had not (or not yet) demonstrated that he had a weapon or begun an attack. You can use an incremental approach if you have the luxury in a given circumstance of drawing before you fire. It is even more easy to justify merely drawing a weapon when confronted with a percieved threat. Once you get to that point, it's harder to screw up legally. If the threat continues to approach (or otherwise threaten), at that point, you must fire. Otherwise, you risk that they will surely soon be armed - with your weapon.

Just remember that when you fire your handgun in the vehicle, it will be loud x100. Other occupants need to be aware of you firing.

In several of those situations the vehicles couldn't move for fear of hitting another vehicle. Screw that, knock the crap out of them. A vehicle is just like a firearm and can be used to save your life as well.

If a mob is attacking your vehicle, a prudent move would have to be using the vehicle not only as a line of defense, but offensively to remove yourself immediately. It might would likely be my first attemptive move before employing a handgun as it is keeps the handgun option in play without me having to expose myself first.
