When I bought CP's car, the salesman came out of the tower, presented the deal and shut up. I sat there for just over 4 minutes, dead silent, while he was fidgiting around and I swear he started to sweat. He finally broke. He took the counter back to the tower and when he returned to present the deal, he shut up. Again, I out waited him. We got a very nice deal and he was paid $50.:jump: |
Re: Car sales terms....etc
that or the well, we have to go let the dog out, I'll come back tomorrow.
they don't like that... after you put several hours in:giggling: best is always wait til the last day of the month after 3pm. |
Re: Car sales terms....etc
Another tactic is to negotiate a killer deal. Leave and call the salesperson back at the end of the month and offer the over the phone $2k credit card deposit for a even better deal. See if they bite! Saves windshield time:)

Re: Car sales terms....etc
Most dealers will go for it but credit card transactions cost money and if it is a hot product I told those people to see me when they get here, or sure the car is still here (when it was not) to make sure the people are serious.
Rule one. you cannot sell a car over the phone if you wan t to make money, so your right:OWNED: |
