Denver here I come...

Taking a job in Denver, starting Apr 9th and wondered how many of you guys are up there and if possible show me how to wheel as I am from the flat state of Florida.

I'm near Denver, but new to Hummer's. Timco said that there are about 12 in the Denver area that meet up. Welcome when you get here and we'll look forward to some mountain fun!

Re: Denver here I come...

Who's Timco? :D

You'll have to post once you get here.
Are you moving soon?

I'm sure we'll be having a dinner before we head off to Moab. The dinner(s) have been a good turnout so far.

Hey Diceman,

Just think......when you start work, we'll all be in Moab wheeling our H2's (well except maybe for tim who going to get a Samurai).

Welcome to CO! Look forward to wheeling with you. Here's three of us that have Hummers in CO.

Here's one of us that doesn't, but is praying for one:

Yeah, the weather sucks. It has been 70 and sunny for about 2 straight weeks now. God I hate winter.

Funny, I got tired of the cold for a bit and headed down to Florida on Jan 28th.....been here since thing in my RV. Will be back to CO April 13th.

Your going to be amazed by the wheeling in Colorado. You dont even need to plan trips, just head out after dinner for a few hours....there are SO MANY places to go.

Most of the Colorado folk post up shop down at the Park Meadows Mall area on the weekends. That or you will find them doing some sort of geocaching in the Highlands Ranch area........

Last minute Piking that occurred for that run last summer.

Is it a pike if someone doesn't formally backout but just doesn't show at the meeting place? I may be confused.

I agree with Tim on this. It's worse than piking. It's a super-pike and Moonie is the KING in this regard.

On the other hand..........

What do you say about guys that don't come out and tell you directly that they are piking, but sort of leak it out through other people.

Hmmmmmmm. You know who you are. ;)

(no, it's not you Moonie).

I am going, dipstick. You think I'd be able to live with myself if you rode BTR and the SLT without me? :D

Since I am taking Kira's truck, I'll be lucky to run Golden Spike.

I do plan to do Slickrock, Porcupine Rim, Prichett Canyon.... on the Trek.

I wasn;t sure that you'd be around for that. I have to get my helmet cam and ride that course and send it off to our team.

We may end up doing a guy's weekend of MTN BKN... not sure yet.
