Those brutes are very nice. Big motor, axles and suspension. Thats what you have to spend if you want to wheel a heep. :giggling:

Some good looking rigs though regardless. oh nice pics NEO:beerchug:

Re: Some junk in town ;-}

That jeep looks as stupid as a hummer does on 20's.......

I must be the only guy on this site who loves his jeep, and loves his H2, but by no means do they do the same offroad.

The Jeep is so versatle, fits down almost any trail, and it knows the meaning of FLEX.....

The hummer is great on the dunes and open areas where more power helps....

Why cant all offroaders just get along and enjoy the sport...

The Brutes Suck azz

Re: Some junk in town ;-}

I was just clowning about jeeps. ;) We definately dont want to start the fued again. I love jeeps, I love scouts, and I love land cruisers, I waive to all off roaders and always pull off the trail for anyone and will help anyone stranded regardless of their rig. Having said that, what is your technical support for the brutes "sucking azz". :popcorn: :beerchug:

Re: Some junk in town ;-}

AEV makes some nice stuff. but 8K for that sucks. All you get is a body....

Complete BRUTE KIT includes:Mid frame extensions Cab closeout (assembled) Rear frame extension w/winch mount All 14ga bed assembly with tailgate Brute hard top (assembled) CNC fuel & brake lines OE style wire harness Body mounts (2) Detailed instructions

There are no engine upgrades, no axle upgrades, nada....
Its just like that hummer look-a-like body they put on the TJ's...

I like the look, and wish Jeep would make a vehicle like that, but for 8K, you could have one hell of a trail rig, and not a Jeep truck....

Or wanting to unbolt the front end!:giggling:

I am starting to worry about the info on the bling and hoping that the dealer will have a anti bling option, if not I am going to be doing alot of lineX!:D

I hear ya, that does suck. I was basing my info off of the article I read in 4 wheel Drive Mag when it first came out. The featured Brute had the Cherokee V8 and and Hybrid Dana 60 axles with 4.56 and ARBs front and rear. So yeah $8995 for just a body is lame. Looks good though. Looks dont get you home. :beerchug:
