Well, I have had a shitty week. My blanky got thrown in the trash. My girls thread got deleted. I have a simulated monkey impersonating me on the interweb. I have had cramps and bloating, it has been cold and rainy, and I learned some of my very special friends (now known as Pikers) will not be attending the Moab trip. I was sullen.

I woke up, it is sunny this morning. It should be warm later. The cramps were gone, my belly was flat. I just feasted on some eggs benedict and puffed my belly back out again. I cleaned my room last night. No worries tewday.

I'm riding my bike and then hanging out. Maybe take a nap later. Life is gewd.

Wat is every1 up 2?

Well, my kids are sick the baby has had a fever of 103 last night and early this morning and the 5 year old has pink eye in both eyes. So I guess a doctors visit is in my near future. It is beautiful here today also, I think it will be about 70* today. Not sure how much work I will get done around here with sick babies.

By the way Alec you sux, rubbing it in that you are going wheeling. thanks, now life does suck.

Marcmedic 03-26-2006 01:46 PM

Just another fun 24 hours at work. Should be a slow day. Basketball and the race on TV.

Seriously though, what's up with everyone bailing on the Moab trip?

HummBebe 03-26-2006 02:32 PM

Went mudding yesterday, so I need to wash the truck, clean up around the house, and then we are going to buy one of those arched trellis' for our bouganvilla walkway today

I get to go to a birthday party at 4, yay for me.

Other than that I was thinking about possibly bashing my face repeatedly off a cheese grater and hoping the outcome would let me stay home.

Today is Haylee's 4th birthday. We had her party yesterday, so her, P-man and I might head over to the park. It's nice out..sunny, little chilly, little windy...but still nice.

I plan on changing my nail polish today, think I'm gonna go with Petal Pink. Gotta wash clothes. I really need to do my CoreSecrets workout ...trying to find excuses not to do it.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Ipedog 03-26-2006 04:30 PM

Until I stop sniffing my blanky and worrying about salmonella poisoning in it's fibers.

Or until I find the perfect mixture of roofies and viagra.

Post the Harvick quip. Please. He's my fav.

Today has sucketh. Got sick the day after the Cline run, felt better last Monday so I raked the yard and planted a gazillion plants, then Tuesday came down with one of the nastiest colds I have ever had. And the fun thing is - it's gotten progressively worse, yay! I felt like a 2 out of 10 yesterday, today is more like a -45. Add to that NO cold meds (my fav meds knock me out, can't do it since there's no one to watch the kid other than me), and Foley's spring shoe sale ends tomorrow. I would love to OD on something pleasant and sleep for a few weeks, but reality has me coughing, snotty, woozy and just being un-ladylike while trying to chase the kid around the house as he drags himself through his own spitup. And to think I actually signed up for this.

Plus the freakin' Max has been running commercials like crazy all day today, adding insult to the fact that they can't get my truck in for at least 2 weeks to take care of a minor tie rod issue. Which I'll probably break again in a month when we hit Cline again.

Yes, it's been a pewpie day. I'm just waiting for the in-laws to call now, I'm ready to be combative.

I watched Adam, Alec and the some of the boys set themselves up for a 3-hour truck washing job as they played in the mud pits. Not me, too lazy today.

Best I can find:

Quote:

Asked if there's one misconception he'd like to change about himself, Harvick said, "I think I'd have probably whupped Kurt Busch before now. I probably shouldn't have said that. I'll still tell you what I think.

"I'd still like to whip his (rear). Before the year is over, he'll make a fool out of (car owner) Roger Penske. We'll just have to wait and see. I shouldn't have said that either. It's hard not to pick on a guy when his ears are pinned back.'

Harvick referred to the offseason cosmetic surgery the driver he nicknamed "Dumbo" had on his prominent ears .

Harvick's comments are not new, just colorful. He called Busch an "arrogant punk' in 2003 and described Busch as a "pansy' in 2004 . He also has referred to the 2004 series champion as "Rubberhead,' a takeoff of one of Busch's former sponsors.

Last night brought teh suck...

Reed kept getting nightmares and waking up screaming. Not fun, especially when there is virtually nothing you can do to stop them from happening. I felt so bad for the poor little guy.

As a result I'm a wee bit bleary this AM...

NewHummerGuy 03-27-2006 02:37 PM

I feel your pain. My son has had them before. Drs call them night tremors. Nothing you can do. You cant even wake them up from them. Just have to ride it out.
