Bought a New Stealth Gray '05. The Bling is going to look awesome! Get out the sunglasses. Will post another pic when I get the rack put back on.
I got a LUX with NAV. The 03' was an Adventure. I hope I don't miss the 6 disk changer too much.

Everyone that sees it says, "Did you paint your car?" Oh well.

He's a beauty Rox! Congrats!

Were you able to keep your accessories from the other one or are you starting from scratch?

Thanks!
Yes, I kept all the extras. I had to leave the flowmaster and the DVD, but I got all the bling off. We had a Hummer Stripping party at my house and got the wheels and everything off the old one. I'm supposed to go off road with Drty and a few others this weekend, but I don't know if I'm ready to get it muddy yet.

Got to get it all set up for Moab! I need a new Moab 2005 sticker, I peeled mine off and it ripped.
I think it's time to upgrade to 20" wheels. I just can't help it.

timgco 07-08-2005 03:47 PM

SWEET! Can't wait to see it all Bling'd out in Moab!!!!!!

VTSTOMPER 07-08-2005 04:06 PM

Nice color pick!

dochummer 07-08-2005 04:28 PM

Roxie! I'm Jealous! I was actually considering trading mine in for a new one...but I think my payments would have almost doubled. Did you go through the portland dealership?

Microday 07-08-2005 04:59 PM

Awesome color, I just traded my Red Metallic Adv for a Desert Sand LUX. I couldn't be happier. Now I need to start adding the bling.

Yes, Vic Alfonso Cad/Hummer. I understand that the GMS pricing is still available even though it was supposed to end on the 5th.

tim: I tried out an SUT in your honor, but I needed the extra interior space for the kids. I wish it could have worked out, I sure liked yours when I saw it in Moab. (black and all)
Have we made the date yet? Let's get this show on the road!

HummerNewbie 07-08-2005 05:58 PM

Congrats, looks great. I love the Stealth Grey. Seems to be becoming one of the most popular colors down here.

LoLo 07-08-2005 07:32 PM

Nice change! (Although, burnt orange IS a nice Texas color! ) Congratulations on your new truck!

DRTYFN 07-08-2005 08:34 PM

Better take off those steps before tomorrow.

mstams 07-08-2005 09:33 PM

Nice color choice. I like the grille.

h2co-pilot 07-08-2005 09:37 PM

Congratulations Rox, I love the color.

I'm glad you tried the SUT.

Now the fun starts on adding your BLING!
I haven't picked any dates yet... in fact it doesn't matter what dates really... I am only a 4-5 hours away. But I do agree, let's set some dates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Private PM of course.

As it should be.

Great looking truck.

ROX 07-11-2005 02:38 PM

Thanks everyone!
I'm really enjoying some of the upgrades! I thought I wouldn't care about the touchscreen NAV. I was wrong! I just wish it could play a CD while Navigating. It seems like that is poor planning on the software engineers part. (But what do I know? )
I'm installing a DVD player that is pre-loaded with old Atari games, like Pac-Man.
The rear tire carrier is coming off and the spare will go back on top of the roof-rack.
XM radio is cool, but over here it won't work very well in the trees. It will be nice on my long trips though.
The engine even seems a little more peppy! Maybe it's just the new car smell that makes it seem a little faster.

LOL! I think you misunderstood me. Damn Radios anyway. But I did want to thank you for letting me bypass some of the worst places on the trail without giving me a reeaalllyy bad time about it. When the NEWNESS wears off it'll be different, I promise.

tower 07-15-2005 02:04 AM

Well, I guess you won't be needing the chromed billet hood latches anymore. Now who do I know with an H2 that I can give those to... Well, I'm sure I'll think of someone.

Why did you let them strip the chrome off the grille?

Beautiful new truck, Rox!

dochummer 07-15-2005 02:11 AM

Drty, weren't you saying that you would love some chrome grab handles?
