Memorial Day Weekend in Moab 07

The Memorial Day weekend started on Thursday for me. I worked a graveyard shift Wednesday night, got home packed the truck and drove to Moab Thursday morning. We got down there had lunch, aired down, and ran Poison Spider with my friends Jeeps. Not a bad way to wrap up a 40 hour day!

I didn't get too many pics from Poison Spider, we just kept going till we got to the top.

Every one of these Jeeps is lifted, with lockers front and rear, and at least 488's (most are lower). Very capable machines. :cool:

Friday, Neo and I ran part of Metal Masher with them, then met after lunch to run Hells Revenge. We took an alternate route on Hells in order to run through some rocks rather than over the domes.
Here going into a narrow rocky wash. Neo's line was better than mine, I dragged several large rocks down through it with me. :D |

One of the Heepers left Metal Masher to meet his friend and they hooked back up with us on Hells. His little "Bummer" rig was running (bullet-proof) Rockwell military axles with 46 inch tires on 15 inch wheels. :eek:
He ran the rest of the day with us too. Heres Neo standing next to it. |

Hells was a great time, but getting out was a BITCH!
"The squeeze" at the end will be stuck in my memory for awhile. Neo has good awareness of his rig or he would be missing much of the top of it! That got a little bit technical. :eek: |

My kid (11yo) took the pics so they're not all in focus, but here's Neo following the "Bummer" out of the squeeze. The Bummer just drove OVER the whole obstacle.
