Need H3 Off-Road Footage
 

We're making another Hummer Video. I notice the other one is reaching 400,000 views on YouTube and I think it's time to make another one. A more serious, more advanced hardcore Hummer Video.

FOR ALL HUMMER MODELS H1, H2, H3

H1 and H2 footage is readily available and new footage will be taken also but.....

Haven't seen any H3 footage. I've seen poser pictures, I've read the talk and seen pretty videos of them going over pebbled landscapes but that proves nothing. Need actual footage of an H3 ACCOMPLISHING an obstacle like in Moab. Potato Salad for example.

Alot have told me I'd be wasting my time but being a fair guy, I'll atleast post a request here.



My gut tells me that this will end up being an H1 & H2 hardcore video because I highly doubt this H3 footage exists to make the time constraints.....



...But who knows, maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised. PM me if you have a submission. Need clean unedited footage please.


There is a twinkle of hope coming from the vetrans like NEO and Sewie. They might have some footage on hand.





Regardless of what you think I feel about the H3 or JOKE about:giggling: , there will be NO mockery of the 1,2 or 3 brand in this Hummer video. All will be highlighted equally. But it will depend on submissions.





The finished video will be completely free to the public and we won't be asking for "Proceeds go to..." type donations.:giggling:

That's great Dennis and I can't wait to see it! With that in mind, I haven't seen any footage either. Just pics of the 3's at the top and halfway up PSH. I asked for video before and we never got it.

I hope some of the 3's send you vids so you can rub it in the Heepers faces.

I've always known reading comprehension was a weak point here.

No poser pics. No pretty gravel scenery or boring decent video. Actual video footage of the H3 accomplishing something.

The standards are high for this video.

Like I said, my gut instincts are usually bang on. But I still have to ask.

post some of the clips of the H2 and H1 that are being considered. i would like to see the kind of quality you are requesting. and quit deleting posts, i keep forgeting what i wrote before. Weird that only 3 people submitted.

oh and also can you please post a link to the youtube video (the old one). i think i migth have missed that one.

Nothing weird about that. Expected. Actually I was surprised the number was so high.

Only 1 so far though looked possibly worthy. The other 2 were pavement posers.

Dennis, maybe if you told them what it's for they'd be more apt to posting some.

Have you PMed Bebe? She's the resident Go-Everywhere-Wheel-Everywhere-Done-It-All-3er. She's got to have some good coverage of PSH, Tip Over and the like. Or atleast she should know who has it.

2 out of the 16 submissions have potential and 1 out of the 2 is unusable in editable quality.

Excellent videos. Especially the first one. Good choice for sound track.

Standards aren't that high. Regardless of my jokes towards the H3, it'll do the job.

My big concern is re-editing the format the stuff is on now. Need raw un-edited footage perferably. But some we can make due.

Actually did a small test. A bit grainy but it gets the point across. Useable.


Some of them though have been compressed too small and come out blocky when you try and resample to fit.

Starting to get more submissions.:beerchug:

Just curious, have you gotten anything of PSH or Escalator?

I'll say it here and now, I'm starting to doubt those have been done unassisted by an H3. I'm NOT saying an H3 can't do them, I believe they can. I really do.

However, a few here have said they've walked the obstacles and we haven't seen the vids. They'd be perfect for Dennis's vid.

Why not post them up? You should be proud being the first one's up with the 3.

Nothing on PSH but some (I admit:fdance: ) partial but impressive Escalator and Hell's Gate stuff.

The PSH pictures look great but I want to remove doubt from the naysayers with actual video footage of the complete climb.
