Ok, Long story but heres the short version. My girlfriend has a daughter thats Just turned 17 about a month ago. We just found out that she's been having sexual relationship with a 39 yr olg guy. the law in Ohio counts this as consensual as she was past her 16th birthday. this Fu** has had her doing some real sick **** that can only be described as abuse. he has a rap sheet longer than the local phone book. how can I find out everything about this prick and stop him from hurting someone else.

In Florida you can look up public records, criminal , money judgements, etc on line...

See if you can do it where you live, print it out and show your girlfriends daughter...if that doesn't do any good try and find PROOF he was doing her BEFORE she turned 16.

If SHE, the daughter won't help there isn't a lot LEGALLY that can be done. Now is the guy married ? If so you might want to let the wifey or grown children know about their husband/father...just be careful about libeling the guy.

Of course a visit (polite of course) by (Guieto or Bubba) might change the mind of this gentleman. He might discover GOD and a strong religious belief.

You can also contact the Local District Attorney and have a face to face discussion with the ADA (not over the phone) to find out the TRUE LEGAL FACTS...

and as an aside....most cities I know of you can easily find certain folks where for $$$ can make problems go away. I would also have a talk with the daughter. If any one has problems in the DC metro area I know plenty of folks in Oxon Hill MD like this ;)

I'd start with ads in the paper, signs on telephone poles and signs in his front yard and at his work - "CHILD MOLESTER." That might get him to back off.

Grounds for a restraining order. Write down the date, time, duration and substance of each harassing call or contact and take it to the police. Phone records from her work, cell phone or home phone will help. His criminal history will work to your advantage. Had she made it clear to him not to call her?

Although the sex was legally "consensual", she's still a minor. So as a parent, you may have legal recourse about the abuse. Parents can file police reports, lodge a criminal complaint or sue for damages in a civil court on behalf of the minor. Again, get dates, times, locations and descriptions of the abuse.

This is all easier if she'll make a statement and back you up. Would she do that?

Don't break the law! My first instinct begins with Glock also, but it's not correct. Life in prison is no option.

Fawkers like this know the laws themselves, and will use them against you - guaranteed! You can be morally correct and still facing prison. (remember the Border Patrol agent that shot the illegal drug dealers?)

It's all gonna start with the girl. She has to make some decisions. Has she decided to get away from this scum yet? If so, abuse charges might be possible. You should speak with a detective from your city, but only if she has ended the relationship.

Hate to hear this stuff, happens more than many realize.

If this guy has a record, than you can find this out on the web. Go down to the local PD (find a detective as suggested already) and get his/ her advice as to what actions can be taken.

If he has half the record I susupect, than I bet he has a P.O. That P.O. may be a good place to start too.


DO IT ALL LEGAL! YOu cannot take care of your daughter if you're behind bars!

DOCUMENT EVERYTHING! dates/ times/ quotes when they happen and as they happen! Don;t wait a day or a week later.

Thanks for the advice guy's. Yes we have stopped there relationship, and my girlfriend has taken her daughter down for a series of tests. The police department in London Ohio, Didnt even bother to report this to Child Services. The Daughter may have been in the wrong, but guys who take advantage of someone in this situation need to pay. were looking at all options, and will go with the one that is most severe to teach him and others like him what will happen.

What type of police dept are you dealing with? If its a town or a vilage I would try approaching a the county's dept. If the county is no good, call the state patrol and see if they could help you. If not, you may as well try your local FBI office. Call child protection services as well and see if they can put a fire under the ass of your local police.

Another thing I thought of: Call your local news departments and tell them what has happened and what the police have (NOT) done for you. I'd bet you a shiny new dime that your police dept will do something if this made the newspapers' or 10 O'clock news.

it's possible that local PD knows this guy and they dont want to get involved. I'd escalate to county or state PD or the FBI.

As much as you want to take things into your own hands, refrain from doing so. Like many have said, you arent any good to her behind bars.

Surely someone on the forum is in OH and has a LEO contact somewhere that can get the ball rolling on this guy.

Just remember people like this KNOW the law often times better than the authorities do since they have made a life out of evading the law.
