Hello friends I am a new owner here from Las Vegas, I just took delivery of a Yellow H2 today and im totally in love with it. What I would like to know is how do I find out what features came with my H2 ? is there a website where I can enter the VIN and it would tell me exactly what I have ?

oh I think that a Hummer dealer should be able to pull that for you off the VIN. All of us on the forum are pretty familiar with the truck so just start asking questions. We might need to see some pics that will help us nail down which trim level you have and what toys are on it.

Congrats on your new purchase and welcome to the forums... If I had to guess from your pictures it is a 2003 H2 w/o the air suspension... you will love it... all it needs is a little mud... btw I like your color choice but I am a bit partial to the color :)

Thanks for the warm welcome, its a 2005 and the dealer here isnt too friendly so I guess im going to have to make a trip there instead of dealing with them thru the phone. Till then more info from you guys would be greatly appreciated.

looks like its the lux series with perhaps the uplevel chrome on it. Doesnt appear to have the air suspension. Of course it has NAV on it. Not much else really to say about the options. If you go to Hummer.com and look at the specs it will tell you basically what you have on the truck if you go under the LUX series. They havent changed a whole lot from the 05 to 07's that are still on the site. You'll have a 325 HP 6 liter V8...heated seats, locking rear diff etc.

I believe if memory is correct you need to go to channel 1 or one of the high numbered channels to find it ... i will check when i go to the truck... or go to channel 1 and down from there....

I still have no luck in finding the XM serial number since it wont let me check on channel zero, it seems to be locked with channel 1 and 130.

expect more looks than nearly any other vehicle on the road, expect the endless questions about fuel consumption, where we live we get thumbs up all the time....but where some live they get the finger from the tree huggers...i've heard that blowing a kiss to the tree huggers makes them feel all warm and fuzzy.

Okay friends Im still in search of the XM serial number, when I took my H2 to the dealership today they have no clue on how to get the serial number since they said that it is an aftermarket product and I called ONSTAR and they dont have the info as well.

Any clues ? Id greatly appreciate it !

I called them and they cant help as well, they told me to call the dealer, so im going in circles.

Sorry about that. You may need to strong-arm the dealer into exchanging the unit.

Are you sure it has the XM option? I was told mine did not come with XM and that it would be some $700 for the dealer to install it. Then again...they are A$$ holes too.:mad:

its got XM, but i cant view channel 0, only channels 1 and 390 is what i can get.
