The rear view camera is cool. Put the truck in reverese and the screen slides out the right side of the rear view mirror.

mstams 02-24-2006 06:51 PM

Is OnStar on the mirror? If so, show us the center console...

Either the chrome grille, or the orange brush guard as to go...

I agree on both counts.

Hope the passenger doesn't have the visor down and in the way

DDWH 02-24-2006 07:21 PM

All chrome needs to be blacked out and put different brush guard on it. Still have to see it in person for the color though. Might just be the lighting......

SOFTTAILJC 02-26-2006 02:21 PM

those are the side steps i saw on pacific blue h2,, with cut outs on bottom door trim...i think that color u have to see outside to really tell.......soft...

VTSTOMPER 02-26-2006 03:03 PM

Hey that mirror is sweet!

Nice creamsicle - not lovin the color as much as I did on the concept. Hey why didn't the cut the sides of the grill like the one at the SEMA show?!

dochummer 02-26-2006 03:07 PM

Are those side steps easily removed for off-roading?

timgco 02-26-2006 03:22 PM

They bolt on like the U steps do. I looked at puting those on mine, but couldn't get anyone to order them for me. They are on the limited's only for now.

VTSTOMPER 02-26-2006 03:31 PM

If you had a vin for a limited would they sell them to you Tim?

DDWH 02-26-2006 07:13 PM

I have been trying to get a set of those as well!

Forum member MSeeb just sold a set on EBAY this weekend:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIte...TRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

I wasn't sure if they'd fit or I'd have snagged them.

mstams 02-26-2006 09:58 PM

Anyone know the part number(s)?

i would like to know as well.

dochummer 02-27-2006 02:24 AM

Looks like they would fit on the factory rock rails. The only mod would be to the trim right above it?

Think they'd work with no mod to the trim?

dochummer 02-27-2006 02:30 AM

I don't think you would be able to get it to fit between the regular trim and the rail. Hmmmm...realistically, would probably be better just modding the rails to give you a 2-3 inch lip...I've seen it done on drty's rig and it's a perfect step.....

My concern would be ripping them off while wheeling....

HummBob 02-27-2006 07:00 AM

I totally dig that rearview monitor.

Picture of it cleaned up and in the sun

vador99 02-27-2006 03:32 PM

WOW!!

mstams 02-27-2006 03:59 PM

The color does look good in the sun, but I'd rather see it in a regular model.

timgco 02-27-2006 04:21 PM

looks good in the sun!

DDWH 02-27-2006 04:25 PM

I like it, just black the bling and it would look perfect!

Alan06SUT 02-27-2006 05:09 PM

Can those mini steps fit on an adventure series?

DDWH 02-27-2006 05:32 PM

yes!

dochummer 02-27-2006 05:52 PM

Much better in the sun!

KenP 02-27-2006 07:22 PM

Yep, it's orange!

yodawagon 02-27-2006 09:29 PM

would look better with a real brush guard.

Shrek_H2 02-27-2006 10:03 PM

What about the light bar onthe roof is that available?

Alan06SUT 02-28-2006 12:29 AM

Whats the PN on those steps? They look like they wouldnt have to be removed for off roading.
