Totalled my H3 today
 

Got T bagged by a woman flying around a corner when I was turning left today, and as far as I can tell it's probably totaled. She hit me so hard I was on 2 wheels for 20 some feet but was able to right it with out going over by steering back the way I was tipping. Not that it really matters since I think it's done for. Pics will follow tomorrow

sorry to hear that, but sounds like no injuries at least luckily? so what was the women driving and how her vehicle looks like? (..kinda hoping to hear that it was a big SUV or truck, and is totaled as well)

well im sure whatever she is driving, unfortunatly it probably wont look as bad as the hummer becasue she hit the side of it. But i wish her car/suv/truck/ w/e it is, is totalled way worse=)

I'm not the kind of guy to push someone in front of a bus...I'll usually stop them from stepping out in front of one too!

In this case the dude's ok...on the internet about it and all....

yes yes, I must say I had a few beers when I got home and misplacedly interchanged terms. My bad. But I sustained no injuries so I'm pretty happy. She was driving a corolla esq car which was just toast. I mean the front 3 feet of the car just was not there. My truck looks like it got smacked, but the structural steel in the doors didn't flex one bit from what I saw. I was actually really impressed how well that truck took that hit. I do have the OEM rock rails so I think the that toughened up the impact protection. Built like a tank she is!!!!

...OEM rock rails seem pretty tough - during the installation I was pleased by their weight, material quality and eight bolt heavy-duty frame mount. I wondered if they'd help in case of side impact since they sort of extend the frame to the sides nicely...looks like they can contribute to safety in certain scenarios

I'm glad to hear nobody was seriously injured. If what you say is true...those pictures are worth something here, to all of us! I hope that makes sense. I've been drinking too!

Here's pics of the damage. The rock rail stayed absolutely true believe it or not, but it annihilated her bumper.

That's nothing! your insurance is not going to salvage it, your better off selling it and getting a new one it will never be the same

My rear axles bent, rear drive shaft is broken, trans is leaking so it will be intersting to see whats up

In the end, it's just a vehicle. The important thing is your health.

With that kind of damage, I'm having a hard time visualizing the impact. It almost doesn't look like you were t-boned at all.
