H3T article in new Truck Trend Mag
I don't think anyone posted this yet. I just received my new Truck Trend. They have an article on the H3T as well as production ready pictures without camo. There is also a review of the '08 H2. I did not see pics on their web site yet. They say it will be ready for production in mid-2008. Good article.

Re: H3T article in new Truck Trend Mag
interesting:
optional engine: V8 + 5-speed manual ....so, maybe we'll get this combo in regular H3 some day afterall? edit:...well, I guess not, they probably meant that 5-speed to go with the base I-5..damn |
Re: H3T article in new Truck Trend Mag
Wow, that is not an attractive Hummer. :(

Re: H3T article in new Truck Trend Mag
I'd buy one! Not a huge bed, but I could haul woodchips, dirt and muddy camping supplies without using my trailer. Went to the Detroit show and didn't see it there. Rear bumper looks like you would lose some departure angle???

Re: H3T article in new Truck Trend Mag
From the back it looks good, but then you see that side profile and blahh! it gets all out of proportion.

:iagree: A slantback insert for the bed would fix that. |
Re: H3T article in new Truck Trend Mag
Crappy, just as bad as the H2 truck. Stupid GM.

Re: H3T article in new Truck Trend Mag
Looks better than I thought it would, but 2-doors with a full bed would have been better ... motorcycle tie-downs? unicycle tie-downs, maybe :twak:

No manual with the V8. H3T will sell for around the same as the H3. It has tie downs at least in the front and sides. Not sure of the floor. I've seen one and I think it's pretty nice. |
Re: H3T article in new Truck Trend Mag
Like some of you here, I don't like it at all. I will hold on to my '07 H3 until the HX comes out in a few years(crossing fingers it will go to production). My dad was looking to buy a H3SUT. I don't think he will be happy when I send him this link. GM really dropped the ball on this one IMO.

Re: H3T article in new Truck Trend Mag
After looking at those pics a few times, I think this truck will be more practical for construction and such. With the V8 option, 35's and a 4" lift, proper side, under, and rear rock guards, this truck could be very fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D

A bunch more pics here. :jump:
After seeing more (and better) pics. I'm a little torn. Some angles it looks really cool. I really like the style of the bed and tailgate. But the side profile looks weird and out of proportion. If it was a two-door or club cab with that bed, it'd be sweet. They're supposed to have the truck at EJS so hopefully I'll get to check it out in person. :excited: Attachment 46263 Attachment 46264 Attachment 46265 Attachment 46266 Attachment 46267 |
Re: H3T article in new Truck Trend Mag
Kinda like a Wagoneer Pickup.......
|
Re: H3T article in new Truck Trend Mag
I see how this could help Hummer sell alot of units, but personally I don't like it as much as the SUV. I'd rather see the X than the 3T!
|
Re: H3T article in new Truck Trend Mag
I guess it has its application but certainly woulndt be my choice for wheeling. The wheel base looks way too long.
|
Re: H3T article in new Truck Trend Mag
A slantback top would help, but I don't think I will be trading my H3 for this. If they give a V8/5 spd option, that would tip the scales.
|
Re: H3T article in new Truck Trend Mag
Maybe they will make a H3 L version, like a mini Suburban on the H3 T chasis?
|
Re: H3T article in new Truck Trend Mag
It looks better than I thought it would, wouldn't own one, but it does look ok.
