Great looking truck!!! I would get rid of that last little bit of bling bling, but that is just me. How is the ride / gas milage / power with those big shoes?

Nice truck!! Where did you get your fender flares? They look really good.

knack 03-06-2008 01:45 PM

Re: 07 HUMMER H3 4 INCH TUFF COUNTRY 35'3

The fender flairs are E&G Classic Fender and Mud Flap combo. They retail for around 4-500 dollars depending on who you by them from. They fit perfect and are solid not floppy or cheap.

Re: 07 HUMMER H3 4 INCH TUFF COUNTRY 35'3

the wheel offset is 4.5 inches so they can clear on the front end.

How is your CB reception with the antennae mounted like that?

knack 03-20-2008 06:13 PM

Re: 07 HUMMER H3 4 INCH TUFF COUNTRY 35'3

It is actually a scanner antenna. I am a firefighter. The reception is great from that angle and My fire dept is still on low band frequency so you need a good ground with a big antenna.

Did you go with the add-a-leafs or full replacements?

Do you ever wish you had gone with Rancho for any reason?

What does that object looks like a load coil or divider on the mast of the antenna do?

Re: 07 HUMMER H3 4 INCH TUFF COUNTRY 35'3

I got the full rear spring replacements. I thought the rancho was way overpriced and looking at both they were the same in my eyes as well as the guys that help me put it on. I really like the ride of the Tuff Country also.

Where did you purchase the kit?

Did you go with the Tuff Country shocks?

Thanks for your help.

Re: 07 HUMMER H3 4 INCH TUFF COUNTRY 35'3

I bought the lift kit through Rad Customz in Norwood Massachusetts. I know they used the Shocks that were purchased with the kit. I don't know what company they buy from but I know the kit was less than $1700 for everything. There is about 186 steps to install and it is not to bad just a little time. The person who installed mine took 2 days to install and it is pretty much bolt on. The only thing you must do is get new rims because the backspace is 4.5 inches and the stock rims will not fit on the front. Any other questions let me know.

nice hummer!!! i am going to lift mine as well. i would like to ask you some questions. did it become much slower than before? did you have to change the ratio? do you have some bad things to say about the lift and the big tires? thanks in advice!
