I don't suppose the Hummer is everyones daily driver (I may be wrong- flame away) but what's everyone else driving when the snow or boulders are not calling?

I'm a BMW freak personally The Hummer is replacing the X5 when the lease is up in march.

Hehe..my other car is a 2001 BMW 740iL. Well, actually, my H1 is my daily driver. The BMW is my wife's car.

Gotta love Bimmers. Hate the dealer service though. It's probably the one reason why aftermarket third party service centers for BMW thrive.

4churchill 02-02-2005 01:24 AM

after my service experience with my M3, they couldn't give me another one. I now have a 2004 Infiniti FX35 and a 2004 Audi A4 convertible, as well as the H2.

This was what I traded in for the H2...looks like the dealership is still trying to get rid of it Been on the lot since October...

4churchill 02-02-2005 05:44 AM

i had an IS that I traded for the Audi, I think Lexus makes a great vehicle

My other car - 1970 VW Karmann Ghia. Driving it? No. Hasn't run since '95, but I still push it out of the garage every now and then to get some looks. The engine just needs an overhaul since it's been sitting so long (and a conversion to unleaded gas), and the interior is still in shell condition. Still a ton of fun tho.

This is my husband's car. He's had it since October, I still haven't driven it. A little too much bling for me....bring on the wigger jokes.

His truck is nothing, just a few mods....you should check out the Caddy forum he's on. About half the guys are from the northeast, the rest from Cali. Pretty wild stuff....the forum sucks tho, mostly bitching about how Caddy needs to build better quality stock parts because their 24s keep snapping the suspension.

Only used for serious offroading.

89vette 02-02-2005 05:45 PM

Why would you assume the Hummer is not daily transportation? It sure is mine. My wife has an 02 Escalade that used to be cool and I have an 89 Vette with a huge motor that I never drive anymore. The H2 is just too cool not to drive it everyday.

Hmmmm.....let me think. Well, amongst the many reasons for my purchasing the Ferrari WAS the potential for picking up young girls between the ages of 18-30. Since your 19, that would be fine. But something tells me you ain't no girl??!!

If a ride in a 355 means that much to ya...then sure, let me know when your in town and I'll give you a ride.

I'm tempted to say that it's no big deal...but I'd be lying!!

TBDAugs 02-08-2005 02:19 PM

Scion xB for towing behind the Ultimate Freedom Coach, Cad CTS-V for me and the wife has a 1961 Mini Austin Se7en Countryman woodie and the H2.

The Austin Woodie is for sale by the way. I'll send pics to anyone who wants to see it. It will almost fit in the back of an SUT...

Nahh...F1 is fast on the track, but it just leaves something to be desired. I passed on the F1. Challenge grill...yep, better ventillation, breaks-up the color, good thing.

KenP 02-09-2005 04:40 AM

Nice ass end, Steve.

DennisAJC 02-09-2005 05:21 AM

Steve,

I've seen that photo before.

That picture is from a series of pics on Farmhump.com!

I believe that's the #2 pic just before the hot action.

here is a nice shot...machine wheelied 90 degrees for 100 feet on flat ground...talk about hook up!, almost fliped it over backwards. 800 modified factory race machine with 200 hp.

4churchill 02-09-2005 02:48 PM

my goal in about 5 years is to have a:

f355 spider
titanium/bordeoux or red/tan or grigio alloy/black
challenge grill
scuderia badges to the fenders
tubi exhaust
14" brembo brakes

my only concern is last time i tried i was barely able to get in the car, and now at about 1" taller than then, my 6'4 1/2 frame might have a hard time squeezing in.

BlackDragon 02-09-2005 07:46 PM

Our other car is a 2004 VW New Beetle Triple cream Turbo convertible. Tuned to 235bhp. Does 0-60 in 6.0.

My daily driver is my H2. I'm hardcore. Gas costs $7 a gallon here...

Previous rides:
2004 VW Touareg V6
2000 C5 Corvette Manual
1997 C5 Corvette Auto
2001 New Beetle RSi (4wd 3.2 V6 New Beetle)
2001 New Beetle 1.8 Turbo
2000 New Beetle 2.0
2001 Lotus Elise
1982 C3 Corvette (Crossfire Injection)
1994 Toyota Supra TT
1990 Toyota MR2
1990 Toyota Celica

The H2 is staying longer than them all...
