Here is my wife's 06 H2. Almost done with it but need to get some black roof racks and get the brushguard on.

Thanks. With all the searching and reading I have done about the door handles, they make me nervous.

MovinH2 04-09-2006 11:04 PM

Did you paint the rims yourself. If so they look awesome.

No, I had them powdercoated with a High Gloss.

Looks pretty good. While it's more black now, I think the glossy grill and wheels are still to blingy and stand out too much

MarineHawk 04-10-2006 02:50 PM

Looks good. Don't forget to paint the body black too.

Ompus 04-10-2006 03:16 PM

Nice rig.. I especially like the black grill..

Did you paint the tires too? Or is that just armor all?

KenP 04-10-2006 06:58 PM

It's a drty truck.

You can Line-X the roof rails if you can't find black ones at a reasonable price.

mstams 04-10-2006 08:23 PM

Looks good. What did you do for the rear tire license plate holder?

KenP nailed it. I just cut the surround away with a dremel and rattle canned(sp) the chrome part.

How did you get your tires balanced? Did the stick on weights work or did you use regular weights and paint them. I've been struggling with mine since some numbnuts used balancing powder that didn't work now I can't get a regular balance job done. Sharp.

bigolH2 04-22-2006 12:42 PM

Startin to look good, dont forget the bigger tires and lift kit though!

DDWH 04-22-2006 02:54 PM

they just used the normal weights. I had them put them on the backside so you couldnt see them and so far so good.
