Sewie 01-22-2006 02:07 AM

It turned out to be a great time. Started out pretty bad though with a couple casualties within the first hour.

The Green Lantern 01-22-2006 02:12 AM

Thanks Sewie!, cool pics. I will post some tomorrow. I took more that 200 pictures today.

Sewie 01-22-2006 02:14 AM

Had to get them up before Hummbebe yelled at me!

I didn't get to take too many so I was hoping you guys got a bunch.

HummBebe 01-22-2006 02:59 AM

Oh, and too bad you missed it.

Nice pie.

HummBebe 01-22-2006 03:16 AM

Seriously though, it was a great day of wheeling, strap demonstrations, winching demonstrations and 1 KICK A$$ hill climb. Hats off to Neo and BAB who went back down!!!

I now know what some of the innerds of an H-1 looks like

Great day after all of the casualties were handled.

I think Neocon and BAB got their "drive to Nor Cal " worth.

WOW we will be seeing some "sick" pics when they get back.....right guys????

Love the stickers Mark M! I'll put them on today

MarK M 01-22-2006 09:21 PM

I'm glad you liked it.

Steve - SanJose 01-22-2006 10:56 PM

Great pictures, some real wheeling for sure. I was slaving at my office in Fremont Saturday, obviously you guys and gals had a better time.

Since my semi-pimped H3 w/OEM bling (chrome side steps, luxury pkg.) will never see more than a foot of snow and lw (light weight) wheeling on fire type dirt roads in east hills, I'm glad to see all the Hummers put to the real test! Any expensive parts getting broken Saturday? Hopefully not.

Had three oops within the first hour. Worst was an H1 with an internal shaft broken somewhere. Put it this way, in park it still rolled (under warranty though). another H1 broke, but drove home on it own power. and an H2 had a simple fix with a trip to the parts store. In my case, I was too chicken to try the stuff that could break my truck, I was farther away from home than my AAA card would tow me.
