Yes, it's true. The wife, formerly "the girl", drove the H2 today for the first time. About 5 miles. She was following me so I had the pleasure of seeing her pearly whites the entire drive. She was so excited, but afraid to stuff the throttle.

Then she wanted to drive it AGAIN! Uh, NO.

Anyway, she really liked it and said it was much easier to drive than she thought it would be. But, she would not want to drive it all the time. Too big, loud and scary for her littleness. Good.

The coolest part is I won points for being such a wonderful husband.

Ken,
Letting your wife drive your Hummer once is like feeding your dog scraps from the table, you do it one time and.....................
HUGE MISTAKE!!

H2Finally 02-11-2005 09:19 PM

Before you know it, she said "Dear, I've a got a girls luncheon today and I need the Hummer. Here's the minivan keys -- be a dear and pick up the kids? Don't forget soccer is at 4 and ballet is at 5. Thanks...."

(I know, it HAS HAPPENED!! )

Tully 02-11-2005 09:46 PM

no ****....i let my GF drive mine once...now when I'm away on business trips I find random **** in my beast when I return...and I'm like 'did you drive it?!?!' and shes like 'um, well...no...uh...yeah...twice' i swear people have died in other countries for lesser things!!! UGH!!!

the beatings will continue until YOU GET YOUR DAMN PAWS OFF MY HUMMER KEYS!!!

KenP 02-12-2005 12:40 AM

I'm lucky in that if she takes it out I will know... She can't back it into the garage.

timgco 02-12-2005 12:50 AM

My GF drove my 03 all of the time.
She drove babby Lion's back last Moab trip and loves it.

She's driven the new one quite often too.
She has no problem driving it either.
She used to have the Avalanche and now drives the Z car. So I don't mind switching now and than.

an SUV will be added this Summer, we'll just have to see how money goes than and if it's going to be an H3 or not. that'll be her truck so she'll have to decide.

KenP 02-12-2005 12:54 AM

I understand. I'm trying to get my gal interested in an H3. I think she would love it and it will be about time for her to get a new vehicle.

4churchill 02-12-2005 12:55 AM

my gf has always had an open invitation to drive, but has never accepted....now she is in love with the sut, today she even alluded to the fact that she may take me up on my offer. i figure her family has more money then i, so worst case scenario the future father in-law will be buying a new truck for me after she runs over 4 cars

DennisAJC 02-12-2005 01:06 AM

I think alot of our significant others will be getting into the H3s.

I can see her bumper sticker now. "My hubby drives an H2"

hilarious, thats so true though, i know that Alex (no jokes ok, its a chick ) definately would drive the H3, she has an ML55 right now, and its time for a change. if she got one i would def get her the "my man drives an H2" bumper sticker

h2co-pilot 02-12-2005 02:30 AM

Yes I did. I did well too. But it continues....the light is bad and hopefully I will post it right. I am stating my point and then I am staying off the site and out of the h2 drivers seat.

Well Ken, now you did it. Look at the monster you created......"can I take it tanning tomorrow" .........You have no one to blame but yourself buddy.

Susan,
Next time, put an "assprint" on his windshield. Oh and don't forget to tape it.

KenP 02-12-2005 01:12 PM

Now that's just not right.

AND, I know who helped you...

Now who would go and do a thing like that?

DennisAJC 02-12-2005 03:58 PM

OH ****! You've opened Pandora's Box!

Ken, I loved your responses...."Uhmm huh......Uhmm huh" LMAO.

Next time your tooth brush taste salty........

H2Finally 02-12-2005 08:20 PM

h2co-pilot, the seat of the H2 can be adjusted really high-up and forward. Also, there is a lever underneath the steering wheel that will allow you to adjust the wheel much lower... Try it, you'll see how much easier driving it will be... Don't forget, practice makes perfect! Enjoy your ride!

What H2finally said!

Oh, and since the Hummer has great traction, you can just step on the gas as hard as you want to on every straight-a-way.

I see new tires in Ken's future.

KenP 02-13-2005 01:20 AM

There's just nothing good that could come of this. My best hope is she stays away from this site... Far away. Although I have a sneaky feeling she will be back. I mean, hell, she once stuck me with that damn Barbie avatar for a whole day before I noticed...

And STOP giving advice, guys. The seat adjustments really DON'T work that way, Baby. The H2 is built for BIG MEN. Nevermind Joyce, Shannon and the other women. They use booster seats and that doesn't count.

H2Finally 02-13-2005 01:29 AM

Uh.. I've got a couple of booster seats you can have for free...

KenP 02-13-2005 01:55 AM

Your killing me...

HummerLvr 02-13-2005 10:23 PM

H2Co-Pilot, I love your signature line!

E

KenP 02-13-2005 10:26 PM

I always call the truck a "she". Besides all my girls wear.... Uh... I mean, uh, damn... Atleast the truck wasn't cross-dressing. Yeah, yeah, that's it... Damn...

4churchill 02-14-2005 01:24 AM

ken, i thought you were the one in the family who was "in the closet"

couldn't resist

ssgharkness020147 02-14-2005 02:39 AM

You guys shouldent give Ken crap about the skirt on the side of the truck. Look at the skirt. Judging by the size of the waist line and the length of it I'd have to say Kens got a hell of a good looking woman.

KenP 02-14-2005 02:56 AM

I'm a lucky, lucky man. Especially since I'm so damn ugly.

H2Finally 02-14-2005 03:30 AM

No argument from me there, buddy! (Hey, at least you're honest!)

4churchill 02-14-2005 03:32 AM

my nickname is "Why Him"...people see me and my girl and thats what they say

Money makes men attractive like big tits make women more attractive........LOL

PARAGON 02-14-2005 01:33 PM

Funny stuff, Ken and Susan. Susan, the way your video started off, I thought we were going to see a replay of the Paris Hilton vid.

And if you like your ijoy, get Ken to buy you a Panasonic Real Pro 3202 chair for valentines day.

Spike 02-14-2005 01:46 PM

Hey Ken,
I guess you'll be taking the Minivan to Paragon then right. I think Susan has Tanning Salon appointments that whole weekend.
