I've had so much trouble with the fabric upholstery on my H3, that I am looking to change to leather. The dealer has agreed to help me out with the cost on this.Does anyone know how much a leather package would cost so I know if I'm getting screwed or not.Any help is appreciated.

What kind of trouble?

I know my dealer puts leather covers on the base models not sure of cost.It looks the same as the leather in the lux.

I believe someone on here ordered a base model with leather seats as he did not want the Lux package. Can't remember who though. Try doing as search.....

Dealer cost is $1000 minimum, depending on quality of leather and install.

I got luxury package and the leather seat for me are worth it. Cloth seats stip the hair off my dogs. They seem to use good leather too and the steering wheel has a very nice feel to it. The power seats are easy to use but have no memory. It makes the truck a little more sophisticated.

Leathers the way to go...

LUX Pkg includes a lot of stuff, leather seats, wheel, etc
6 cd player, carpets all over etc etc
and list (MSRP) over 3 grand

to the best of my knowledge there is NO leather seat only which is a FACTORY OPTION. It would have to be a dealer deal so watch out!

Also understand when H3 was 1st intoduced you could get leather power seats only (NO PKG) for a lot less then 3 grand. By the time i bought both my H3's that was gone and had to buy the package only.

In south Florida a few of the dealers are contracting with LOCAL shops to do custom stuff including leather work

BUT

from what I saw was expensive...

Good luck

Custom interior shops $1200

The leather has always been part of the luxury package. You've never been able to get the leather interior, power seats, or heated seats unless you got the luxury package.

On a side note, the white zone has always been for loading and unloading, there's never been any parking in a red zone.

You can get a good leather package with two tone seats and heat for 1300-1500. Here are a few pictures of one I have seen done.

I like the Limited Edition Victory Seats too, but I think they run close to 1800.

My problem is the cloth material loosens up after a couple of weeks. It gets all wavey on the seat cushion. The dealer replaced both the seat cushion and the seat fabric and after a couple of weeks it loosens up again.According to him he checked a couple of other vehicles in for service and they are having the same problem. He suggested switching to leather and I don't mind paying something but I don't think I should have to foot the whole cost since it is a poor design.

Luxury leather....we mad ethe right choice for sure. Easy to clean up the dog hair (Although we do keep a wool balnket covering the back seat for the sogs and one on the floor. and the heated seats are very nice to have.
