h3 tie rod shot

After only 45000 miles my inner tie rod is suffering from "way to much play"

Looking at this problem with the mechanic and being told. "Same old GM parts they use on the other stuff". Not impressed with the diameter of the parts on this H3:twak:

OEM replacements are pretty good but if you aren't satisfied look at the Moog tie rods. Probably a good choice for replacement.

I agree! There are a lot of good aftermarket tie rods for the H3 - at least there used to be. My son bent the tie rod on my old H3 in Colorado and he went to a heavier one recommended by Lynch three years ago and has had no problems since. He does a lot of trails and and rock climbing with it.

The raybestos look like a price leader for standard replacements and good reviews. Going to give it a shot...
