Hey you guys:
You wanted to see pics of the H2 in the same pond that the H1s were in...well here it is. I'm still learning the new camera (these are stills taken from video) so bear with the small size. Hopefully the detail will be okay. Here goes... |

Very cool!
Looks like that is about max on the depth limit, yes? Peter |
Nice pics! Looks like a lot of fun. You have a good head wave (or whatever they call it) going. That means you're going just the right speed. The "head wave" helps keep the engine dry.

I just have to find a cammo bikini, then I'll be all set...anyone seen one online?????

Yeah, as my H2 is setup right now, that would be max depth. I've heard of folks outfitting the H2 with a snorkle similar to the H1s, but not sure how you protect the alternator in that case...have to do some research. However, I'd say that's probably the deepest water I'd be comfortable fording.

Cool, sistah, really cool!

Nice! I'm still trying to figure out our video camera too. I have yet to install the software that allows for converting the digital video to .wav format for the Internet.
You weren't joking when you said water up to the front lights; almost to hood height in that 5th shot. |
Did any water get in the cabin?

Nope, no water in the cabin at all. Seriously, not a drop!

GREAT driving Kelley! You had a perfect bow wave going on.
As far as the alternator, I wouldn't worry about it. Water won't hurt it as long as you don't get mud and junk in it too. |
Kelly,
Did you turn around and try the other direction? "I smell varmint poontang." |
