Any decent automotive supply paint store can look up the codes.

If your planning on doing touch up work, just have them color scan the vehicle. Paint fades. Mixing off the paint code might not match...thats your problem and would be out of what ever they charged you. If they scan it, and it doesn't match- thats their problem to get you the correct mix.

Yes... but the problem is I have the black bumpers now.

I've called the GM dealer and they don't have a clue, which is odd. I saw a Tahoe today that had the same front bumper.

Duplicolor Silver Metallic #BGM0535 (T178).....this is the one that i use to touch-up my front lower lip silver bumper.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for that info. Is that duplicolor in a can or is it actual paint from GM?

Debating on whether or not to powder coat or paint...

Is there a clear coat on the bumpers?

Wondering how an entire rattle can job would hold up.

Mine has clearcoat on it.

I just repainted the entire front lower lip because of rusting due to off-road scratches. I used the the entire spray can (3 coats) and finished 'em with Duplicolor Clear Coats (2 coats).

It's not perfect because i didn't sand it down properly, i just want to get rid of the rust spots. It's goin' to be scratch again anyways off-road :giggling: .

Check it out
