That's a USMC Humvee not an H1. Civilian Humvees are H1s, Military Humvees are Humvees or Hummers, never H1s. To those of us in the Military calling a Humvee an H1 is like telling an H2 owner his truck is a Tahoe.

Offensive, isn't it!

You tell 'em!!! I hope some towels got shot off some heads over there because of it. |

Even that doesn't make any sense, but if I gather what you're trying to say as "IT would if you understood..." I understand completely, and comparing trucks that are identical except for things like interior, electrical systems, and of course all the necessities for a warzone to an H2 and a tahoe is ridiculous. If someone is going to make a point, damnit atleast try and make sense. :fdance: |

They are far from identical except for the things you mentioned. The bodies are totally diffrent. I have seen miltary one next to an H1 at a trail ride. I dont even think the body panels are made of the same materials (ie hoods). When side by side, the many diffrences are apperant. I belive the suspension parts are slightly diffrent as well (Springs looked diffrent to me). |
