Ye olde "key stuck in ignition" issue

I searched & found the problem (broken wire at shift assembly)
BUT, its broken RIGHT at the plastic clip....no slack to solder again...

I haven't done it on this particular application, but your just going to have to get surgical, find out what's clipping it in and carefully flex it away without scraping the plastic bit apart, very unsettling.

Alternatively you could order the entire plug but then you have a bigger pia connecting all the wires.

Sometimes I can't figure it out or either its clipped in somewhere in the metal plug half way in - bigger pia.

Wait a minute, just relooked at picture, the blue clip has to be removed which is a secondary holder (in most cases) in addition to a primary as I wrote of above.
But the blue must be removed first, in a few cases it is the only holder, but that's unlikely.

Blue looks self explanatory from what I'm seeing just push in side clips as same time and pull up.

yeah it's really hard to tell. i tried pulling on it, but didnt wanna screw it up more.

the blue pin popped out easily, but thats as far as i got.

I was able to solder onto a tiny piece of exposed wire, but it's def gonna break again.

gotta get that wire out so i can solder further away from the clip to minimize movement

You can look for a part# here: http://parts.nalleygmc.com/

But you'll prolly only find the whole harness...BUT check the Product Fitment/Applications section for other vehicles that it may have been used on; then go to the junkyard with a pair of wire-cutters. Snip snip and you gotta clip.

Also check the Fitment for the module that the cable plugs into. The cable itself may be model-specific due to the unique dimensions of the deuce, but the device it connects to will probably be a standard crossfit part...since you're only looking for the end connectors you should be golden 'cause those will be the same.

Typically the pins are a small metal pin that has barb on it. If you have something like a dental pick to push through the front on the side of the pin with the barb you can push the barb down and release the pin.

I've taken many plugs apart on my rig for wiring up other things.

Good luck.
