Highbeam Indicator

Has anyone come across a highbeam indicator dimly lit? It appears like there's a short somewhere, because it flickers sometimes, and then just remains faintly on. It just started doing this. My guess is that it's a problem in the cluster, but thought I would check here first if anyone has come across this

Sounds like your gauge cluster is ready for the rebuild. I just had to get mine done. I went through circuit board medics and had all the stepper motors replaced/upgraded to the swiss switec ones, upgraded to LED, and they also updated some other known problem areas. There are many other rebuild outfits found by searching online or through eBay.

Check the ground at the very front of the left side frame rail. Make sure its tight and clean. Ive seen this ground cause all sorts of weird issues.

Humtech, where. exactly is that? I just checked under the hood. The only ground I can see to the chassis, is the braided ground to the firewall, to the left of the power break reservoir.

Look through the opening where the towhook is from the front of truck and you will see it
