Making Friends

1 Attachment(s)
Was off the the local Super market and ran into the local jeep nut. Attachment 39099

Great guy, let me take it for a ride again, like the removable top, like the gear box. Visibility, not a whole lot better, seems allot smaller than it is. Would not trade but would take the 6 speed

Maybe Im just not used to them yet, but 4 doors on a wrangler really throws me. Its eye sore for me at this point. Maybe its just because its stock and needs some 35"s. Nothing against the mechanics or jeep in general, just style. :beerchug:

I prefer the H3 style also. But that was a great opportunity to take a close look at the Jeep.

After having a CJ-5, YJ and TJ with limited storage space the 4-door Jk would be great for long trips. I'd go for the 4-door Rubicon

i had the chance at the Pittsburgh Auto show to sit in that very same jeep....i agree...i dont like the styling and the interior was super cheap looking. Alot of spotwelded metal with some splashes of plastic on the interior. Just didnt find it comfortable.

I saw his rig up at moraine point a few times, I like the color green.

My fav green is that toyota green they came out with in 2002. Which will be the color I paint my new rig fresh off the lot. I like the black and green look for sure, but I want more of a olive military green with some small metal flake in it.

Scouts have you seen that silver Benz being driven by a couple hotties around town? :perfect10s:

You up for Hillsville this weekend?

I have only seen one hot blonde in the silver G wagon but she about ran me over at the Sheetz (on 356) trying to impress me, as I was dodged her I did appreciate that sweet V8 rumble coming from her wagon. I have my final CGSC course this week end and then the next week end I am racing my TR8 nd the first two weeks in June I am off to FT Leavenworth. In between I have my daughters softballl games on Tues, Thurs and Saturday. Sundays are best for me

I don't know.. I'm really diggin' the look of Phil's new Rubi... I ain't quite ready to trade the H3 in, but when it's time the decision to stay with Hummer MAY be a bit more difficult.. Of course by then the price of a used 98 - newer H1 may be in grasp...

I amde it to teh Auto show last year in PGH but once it got rescheduled this year when the convention center was falling down, I just kind of forgot about it. The PGH Vintage Grand Prix guys had a great display last year. Usually a cheap and easy way to waste an afternoon

Or..Enlarge the opening in the Mooh Roof Area. That would be cool....a 5 Foot piece of glass retracking into the cargo section. We can call it a "Trail Roof"
