Why? AM General builds the military vehicles - NOT Hummer.

What they are buying is the platforms and all data related to Hummer division. Asian engineers will have a new look to what they move forward on...

There is a major separation between reverse engineering and moving forward planning...
When you have access to original design and current plans. As well as performance data. Its a new world of information for new generations. The Hummer designs as they stand did not just come from nothing. They represent years of research and engineering.
