Hi I received my H3 a week ago, but somehow the manual was missing. Yesterday I took it for its offroad drive and while hopping up and down a light up on the dashboard, I couldn't understand what it was it was. the light is a car a half-car with a big lock on it, I thought it's regarding some open door, I checked everything is ok. the light wouldnt go off. does anyone know what it is ?

This is the Security Light

Manual said:
This light will come on when you turn the key to start. The light will stay on until the engine starts.

If the ignition is turned on, and the light flashes, the PASSLOCK system has entered a tamper mode.

If the light comes on continuously while driving and stays on, there may be a problem with the PASSLOCK system. Your vehicle will not be protected by PASSLOCK and you should see the dealer.

So after reading that in the manual and looking up the PASSLOCK info. in the manual, it states the same thing about problems with the passlock system and can disable your fuel.

Thanks Timgco, you're a great help, if it cuts the fuel supply then I need to take it up with GM, not to mention getting hold of my copy of the manual.

Yesterday I travelled for around 120 miles (onroad and off) the light came on when I was offroad, and stayed on till I came back home. everything was fine except for that light that was always on.

This morning, I started the truck, everything was normal and the light was off
