Lynch Hummer has the best (most detailed pics) that I could find. Looks like we may be adding an H3 to our family because my wife actually likes it. (been trying to get her into my H2 so I can get a SUT)

Wow cool pics, I really like this alot, can't wait to see one off road.
I like this one. |
I do not know if just a few feel this way but I do not like the look of H3, looks toyish. But mainly I have this sinking feeling like the pride in owning a Hummer name is being deluted by all these different models. I saved and saved from the time I saw my first H2 to be able to put down a large down payment. By the time I was able to get it this year it had been many years of hoping and wishing and I can't wait. I'm so proud to own it My 05 Stealth Gray Sut. Maybe it is just sour grapes but it upsets me that soon every soccer mom will have a $30,000 Hummer when most of the time H2 buyers are paying $60,000. Yet they can say i own a Hummer. I'm sure though that H1 pwners felt the same way when the H2 came out. But, I think the H1 and 1 model H2 SUT would be plenty for all to chose from. Well I guess You get the jest of it all. I will just have take and live with it but I saved for years to have down payment almost equal to soccer mom total bill to buy her H3.
Saddening, Let Me see what others are thinking maybe I'm just being a big baby but can't help I feel all the sacrafice I made to own the Elite is getting watered down. I understand it is just business to GM more market to sell to. |

It would seem that everyone has the same pictures, that will change in time when we have video of it off road.

RLTAZH2...just wait until GM comes out with a H4 (to rival the Jeep Wrangler market). That is sure to make people upset.

The H3 is going to bolster the H2 as it will be purchased by those aspiring to own an H2. In additton it may prevent a freefall of H2 resale values. as to saying "I own a HUMMER" ask any driver of a C class MB, the cheapest Lexus, BMW or Infiniti what they drive and they will most likely respond with The BRAND name not the model...... |
My only gripe is the rounded edges. That was what shocked the world when the H2 came out - it was a freakin' BOX. The fender flares also defeat the side clearance issue with off-roading....I would much prefer straight lines to help better judge tight passes.

Thanks for posting the pics. Can't help but think "Jeep Cher-o-kee" when I see these images. ;-/

More like a Jeep Liberty to me...

I kinda like it. I think it has really grown on me. I'd like to test drive one, and see if it's worth any serious consideration.
If it's worth considering, the 1st thing I would do is, put a lift on it, and go with some 38's. I think it would be even more nimble than the H2 because of the lack of weight, and the width is better. I'm not a trator by any means, just trying to give the little guy a chance before we tear him down! Ric-H2 |
I still wonder about the leaf springs, for 30k+ i would thint they would use somthing better.
