Here we f**ing go again. We're going to compare apples to oranges. I have grown so tired of this stupid argument about modified vehicles handling rocks better than an H2. Ok guys you win. Your modified trucks will crawl better than an H2! It's great that you guys enjoy your rock crawlers.

Very soon you will see used H2's on the SAME trails that are modified to do the SAME obstacles and they will probably do much better because their ass isn't hanging out like the taco AND they have a wider stance. At that time I will let out a big laugh because then what are you going to say? Not only did the stock H2 beat ANY stock taco but the modified H2's will be better than the modified tacos because they started with off road DNA (better approach and departure) not to mention the interior refinement and quality is light years ahead of a toyota that is under 20k new.

So have fun now while you can because it's only a matter of months before H2's end up in auctions and then at monster garage to whoop your ass.

Buckeye, Did I post something offensive to you? We all enjoy our hobby, and we all need to not only respect each other but the trails we enjoy together, reguardless of what we each choose to drive.

hehe nobody in those pics drives a taco

I believe the topic is other off-roading vehicles, so this is right on. Nobody is comparing - only sharing.

I'll share, here is my daily driver

83 yota with Ford HO 5.0, Ford NP435 and modified Dana 60 (disk, spool, 35 spline shafts) and front 44 (hydro assist, hi-steer, blah blah)

Maybe he got spanked by a Taco with a Supercharger in his Hummer ? I know my old rig needs the 209:1 crawl to move hehehe

Cranky,

Nothing offensive, I just don't understand. We apparently hit different trails. These pics look like rock crawling to me and one guy has a rig that is so modified I don't even know what it is.

The dig was "who wants to follow", well nobody, because an H2 isn't modified to do those obstacles. There has been a tremendous amount of animosity toward the H2 and it's owners with hostile words and comparisons that are completely irrelevant. It has become a "look at what I can do and you can't in your 55K H2!" IMO, we should have a section in this forum called "Extreme or Completely Modified Vehicles" In that arena we can compare apples to apples. People can post their monster rigs and anything goes. What do you think Jason? Why mix stock vehicles with super modded ones? I would enjoy viewing discussions between the modded vehicle owners as much as I enjoy the ones between the stock owners.

Food for thought.

I think by follow he meant post pics as well, not follow on the trail. I HAVE seen hummers on those same trails, STOCK!

Now you've done it! I've had the itch to get an H1 but this may have put me over the top.

Help me convince my wife that it's completely practical and steak dinners on me while we go wheelin' your way. She gave me the emphatic " NO" this morning so I crawled back in my hole and am waiting to resurface with a better argument.

Hey Mike, we're the River City Rock Crawlers out of Sacramento, CA, come visit us online at www.rcrc4x4.com Brandon is our current President, and if he gets his way will own at least 1 of every 4x4 ever built Loco and I are founding Members.

I came over here because there was a pic of a hummer in a pristine lake off the Rubicon trail. Here's the link to the post.

http://www.elcova.com/groupee/forums?a=tpc&s=2826088551&f=5106011751&m=208606533 4

Anyway, I posted some Info on the Rubican trail to help educate folks on how are all working to protect and preserve the Rubicon. I am very impressed with the postitive response from the folks here, glad they found the info helpful.

Where in Ohio are you? Once in a while the company sends me to Columbus to work
