Sliding down the assembly line today, for the first time, was the all-new 2009 Hummer H3T midsize truck. The H3T is being produced at the Shreveport, Louisiana assembly plant where its brother the H3 SUV is built. Shreveport also produces the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon midsize trucks. The H3T is based off of a combination of the Colorado/Canyon and H3 SUV. It is avialable only in crew cab and contains a more "normal" sized truck bed. The same engines avaliable in the H3 SUV are avaliable in the H3T; the 3.7L Inline-5 and 5.3L V8. With news reports suggesting that the sale of the Hummber brand by General Motors could be complete in early 2009, it may be safe to say this is the last GM-owned new Hummer product to start assembly.
Obviously you can expect to see the H3T at dealerships starting in 2-3 weeks. |

Re: What do we have here? H3T's built
Found some new pics of the H3T with some different cargo options.
You can also "build" an H3T on Hummer.com. I can't find a pic I can save, but there are some new style of wheels offered with the adventure package. Not sure if I like them. There are two new color choices for the H3T. All -terrain blue and carbon black metallic. A choice not available is Midnight blue. |

Re: What do we have here? H3T's built
Now if they just put some little green leaf emblem or something and played up on the "flex fuel" all of the sheeple would buy them in drones! I see so many libs/sheep driving around in gas guzzling 93 octane only FJ crusiers, how did that pile somehow become OK with the greens?

Re: What do we have here? H3T's built
Hadn't thought to much about it, but I saw a trailer load of 'em headed down I-40 back on Sept 5...
I was for sure they'd be making a stop at the local dealership, but no dice.. |
Re: What do we have here? H3T's built
Do like the slant back look. Will wait on HX to see if it gets built. If not will buy a low milage SUT and add a slant bacl look. LATE MODEL USED sut WITH cost of gas will cost allot less than a H3T or HX maybe depending on engine package for HX.
