Rattle In Sunroof Area at Highway Speeds (Tighten Sunroof Wind Deflector)
2003 HUMMER H2

Condition
Some customers may comment on a rattle in the sunroof area at highway speeds.

Cause
The wind deflector screws may be coming loose.

Correction
Tighten the wind deflector screws using the following procedure.

1. Inspect the seal between the roof and the deflector. Make sure that the seal is properly in its groove along the entire front edge of the deflector for proper sealing to the roof.

2. Inspect the alignment of the sunroof wind deflector to the opening.

3. Remove one nut at a time and apply a small amount of GM Threadlocker Medium Strength- Blue, P/N 12345382 (in Canada, P/N 10953489), to the nut.

4. Carefully tighten the screws to achieve a good seal between the roof and the deflector.
