Windshield wiper length on H2?
 

Need your help fast!

Can anyone confirm the OEM length of the rubber on the front windshield wiper blades.

I am measuring 16.5" on the factory ones on our 1007 H2 Wagon
But aftermarket ones are only available in 16" or 17", and I want to have them as large as possible. 16" too short, 17" too long.

So I need to know if REPLACEMENT OEM ones from the dealer are 16.5" also?

My dealer does not have them in stock, and has to order them. Not knowing how long the replacements will be (GM sometimes changes parts like this, so they do not remain the same spec over time), I am hesitant to pay for something that may not be as good as the originals.

Either 16" or 17" will fit your 2007.

OK, thanks. I know that already. As I said, 16" is too short, 17" too long. For max window clearing, 16.5" is best.

Went out today and actually found an aftermarket 16.5" replacement (marked as a 17"). It appears that each manufacturer makes them a different size, so a 16" I found actually measures between 15.5" to 16.75". Weird, stupid, but true.

And found a 12" rear wiper replacement (OEM is 10", but 12" fits better and clears more rear glass.)

Done.
