Lights back on Im going to replace the thermostat .

Does anyone know the factory degree,s ? I searched and ther was mention of a 190 but not sure.

Any tricks replacing it ?

I assume its at the motor end of the front hose under the sensor there unless its hidden somewhere else ?
thanks

Can't say for sure where it is, but usually with GM it is right under the water neck in the front. Also, 190 or 180 will be fine. Cooler is better for performance and economy, but either is fine for every day driving.

Easy enough to install.
Its on the drivers side where the lower hose meets the engine ? Thermostat housing is straight the top one pass side is curved.
You have to remove skidplates and get to it from the bottom.
To get to the bolts you go through the wheel well.
for the upper bolt you have to jack the crossmember up a bit to raise the body.
I had a problem releasing the factory clamp,it was a bitch to do the one on the radiator so I replaced the thermostat housing side with a standard clamp.
Drained the radiator and put in 50/50 distilled water and anti freeze .
