My 2006 Hummer H2 - UK

Hi guys,
I've been on here a short while chiming in and out so thought i'd post some pics of my H2.
I've tried to keep it exactly as i purchased it because they are so rare in England. It was imported from Florida (coral) in 2006 and since then has changed hands a few times until it made it to me at the beginning of this year.
It's my everyday car, which is tough considering petrol costs ?1.42 a litre over here! and parts are hard to come by.
Since buying it i've re-wired the hummer headrest monitors to the new head unit and also added another monitor into the headrest of the middle bench seat. I've also changed the interior light bulbs over to LED to give it a more modern look.
I need new running boards (previous owner dented them) and a new rear corner bumper pieces.
The rear wheels are also peeling and look rubbish. I have one new wheel on order so will have to keep my eye out for another one.
I also use the car as a wedding car so i tend to have it cleaned a few times a month.

Very nice, and yes the early chrome rims were extremely fail prone, the flaking chrome caused GM to replace a lot of them.

Beautiful. Why not lose those ugly roof rails? I have the same car, but mine is orange. I took my roof rails off and get somewhat better gas milage. Ken Bowers, Phoenix, Az

That's weird, I have the same car too! Anyone else on this H2 forum have the same car but in a different color? :giggling: Personally I like the look better with the roof rails on, but that's just my opinion.

Nice looking truck!

stupidly high which is why the hummer is as rare as rocking horse **** over here.
petrol is ?1.40 (give or take 0.01) per litre. Which works out at $10.21 to the Gallon to you guys.
And as i only manage to get around 9mpg, the average journey costs me around 50p per mile.

I've heard horror stories about lbg eating through valves and rings because of poor lubrication.
