H3 Heater Control Issues
 

Greetings!

My heater temperature controls have malfunctioned. Only the coolest setting provides cold air - all other settings provide hot air (no variation). Also, the environmental control provides constant air flow - setting the fan to "off" has no effect on at least a minimal amount of air flowing through the vents. The AC still works but the air seems less cool than in the past.

Any suggestions?

I had a similar issue when i had my 07 H3, it was either cold on the fully cold or everything else was hot. I took it in to hummer and they replaced it under warranty. turns out the actuator in the ac system was broken. if your car is under warranty just take it in and theyll take care of it

Thanks for the info! Was the temperature issue just with the AC or was it with the entire HVAC temperature adjustment?

I found a recalibration procedure online today that I will try tomorrow. If that fails, I will pursue replacing the actuator. I wonder how much parts and labor for the latter will be as my warranty has expired.
