A while back, Four Wheeler magazine did a road test titled "The Ultimate 4X4 Which One is King of Off-Road?" Out of the 4 vehicles tested, the Hummer came in 3rd and the Tacoma came in 1st.

The H1 came in 3rd because of it`s size.
It would have been a whole differt story with the H2.

Besides, I know the editor of that magazine...

I just fail to understand what the H1 has to do with the H2 in an offroad test... Or are these guys that uneducated that they can't tell the difference...

I love that picture. It makes me feel very safe on the road driving my Hummer after reading the story behind it

That IS an impressive picture:

It clearly depicts how crash/crush-zone technology provides an awesome amount of protection for not only the passengers in the H2.....but the piece of crap that stupidly got in it's way.

Would you prefer us to drive a more tank-like vehicle that mauls it's unfortunate victim????

Look how well preserved the passenger compartment is. Look how much force the front-end absorbed: it'll save lives of the "other" vehicles passengers.

I think the thickness of a Tacoma door is about 1.5"...munch goes the taco cause the taco goes munch!!!
