New mods: Updated pics

Haven't made any big changes recently, but did add a few little mods to the mix.

I installed a Rancho steering stabilizer, not extremely fond of the bracket/u-bolt method
Got a Truxxx kit, turns out my installer never installed it..think he used Green keys instead. So I installed all this myself so I don't have to worry about what really goes on and what doesn't
Put the keys in and cranked about half way..however, didn't install the coil spacers or shock extenders (don't want rake again and it rides great without the extenders)

Came across these MGP Caliper covers and figured what the heck, look just the same as Brembo's without the $8,000 price tag haha. I'd recommend these if anyone was going for the Brembo look.

Installed some Cognito UCA's about two days ago (worlds of difference!) handles much tighter and bumps seem much smoother, even with crank on keys.

and changed the chrome hood handles to the black OEM ones. Here are some pics I took yesterday. Hope you like them!

Looks good man. I'm guessing you can't put the stock skid plate back on because of the rancho one?

No I can. I just unbolted it, the drop bracket for it is still on though. Haha. Probably should remove that too.

you shouldnt have had to use the bracket for the stablizer, unless your lift has something to do with it or some other thing im not aware of.

the factory bracket is all that should have been used. im not saying that you can't, or maybe that particular SS needed the bracket.

just saying yo...

Well when I got the Rancho stabilizer, they give you the u-bolt kit and tell you to only use this. I guess I could have just run it in the stock weld bracket and factory hole with the factory bolts. But oh well, it doesn't touch or interfere with anything so no harm no foul haha.

Nice. Every time I see more pics of your truck it keeps looking better and better, looks like you got bit by the mod-bug like a lot of the rest of us. Looking good! :iagree:

Where did you say you were again, TX? Was looking at the background, looking pretty green there.

Nice. I am in UT and the whole state has been burning all summer with wildfires everywhere-no green here right now. Was in NC and SC last week, looked just like your pics with all of the green and trees, beautiful.
