How the EFFF did I miss this thread??!??!

Oh well...

Here's mine, as of last week:

6" Fabtech lift, 37" Goodyear MTRs on Eagles, Magnaflow exhaust.

Currently parked at Off Road Concepts in San Antonio, awaiting a 12" Bulletproof lift, Fox reservoir shocks, Corsa sport exhaust, 42" Pitbull Rockers on 20" Ultra Predator rims, new brakes and new gears. Will post pics when I get it back, hopefully in a week or 2. I'm having a very, very, VERY hard time being patient. :jump:

Can't wait to see that!! What's up with everyone going with the 12" lifts now?

Did you have to cut off the diff ear in the front with the Fab Tech? I've contemplated going to a Bulletproof, but was told since the Rancho kit requires the diff ear to be cut off I'd have to switch the axle housing too...

Re: LIFTED HUMMERS THREAD!!

Well in that case you could go to a Cognito couldn't you? I think you have to cut the diff on them as well, normal cognito lifts require cutting of the diff. It's just that they are really $$$.

Seems like you put a lotta dough and time into this one! I love what you've done with it. How do you like the dual shocks in the front? I'm thinking of going the cognito/fox route in the future.

Yea, and they don't even offer a complete kit. I guess it's big enough for the time being. :giggling:

Nicely done Tyler!

Re: LIFTED HUMMERS THREAD!!

Fabtech and Bulletproof don't cut. Which is one reason why I chose them.

As for the 12" lift - I don't think I would have gone with 12" coming from stock. The 6" was a major lift for a while....but I've had it for 7 years now. It's "stock" to me. And I'm in Texas and TIRED of sitting at traffic lights with a bigger truck than mine on either side. I figured you only live once....why not go totally badass with this beautiful truck? :)

Everything is bigger in Texas!

Bimmer9938 06-10-2012 08:58 AM

Re: LIFTED HUMMERS THREAD!!

If you live in Texas why not just go to B&C Off Road and have a 18" Third Coast made for your H2 (shown with a 3" body lift as well below).

Re: LIFTED HUMMERS THREAD!!

I just can't get over the torsion bar drops on the B&C's. I'm pretty sure they just fab some full throttle kits. Don't get me wrong they have made some sick stuff. But I'm not a huge fan of those ugly T-bar drops.

They make them all in house, any size you want.
