Re: PIAA & OEM switch
Here is a link showing a way to connect a inexpensive 4 pin relay which enables a low amp 12v to grd circuit to activate a high amp circuit...
http://www.classictruckshop.com/club...h/foglites.htm You can get one of these relays for under $5.00 however the install requires some experience with wire connectors and soldering to avoid problems with shorts. Care should be used in picking a open location to mount the relay in a accessible and clear area under the hood. Not under the dash. The illustration shows the bosch 5th pin 87a which is not needed for this application... |
Re: PIAA & OEM switch

A B C A=ground B=accesories C=12 volt + I hooked up four Eagle Eye lights and used two OEM switches |

Re: PIAA & OEM switch
The pigtail wire harness that hooks to the OEM switch is marked A-B-C . The switch comes in two pieces. The switch & the pigtail wire harness. The switches were $27 each at the dealership. The pigtail was $35 each at the dealer. I found the pigtail on line for $16 each. Just Google GM part # 12101864
