In the Hummer factory magazines, there were photos of the gatherings of H1s. I noticed most H1 owners are old bald fat people. Is that the case? H1 owners are older? does H1 make you go bald and fat? does it make you look older?

As we all know kids love and crazy about H2, those hip-hop or sports-stars, fair to say H2 is youthful. When young people talk about Hummer, they pretty much are talking about H2 exclusively. I never had an auto kids envy and get excited about. Kids don't get excited about S500, S600, SL or Jaguar. I actually love that youthful attraction, trying to connect with my teenagers. I don't sense the same kind of excitement nor attraction toward H1. Is H1 an old people's automobile?

Personally when I see a black H1, I couldn't take my eyes off it, while pretending I am not looking. Generally black color ones only. It is getting harder and harder to see a H1 these days, used to be daily.

I dont think the h1 is an old person car. I am 20 and love my black h1. The chicks dig it too.

Its a good midlife crisis vehicle. Besides, average income folk are old, fat, and bald by the time they can afford one.

Hey. WTF, over? How did I get in here??

I don't think it is an old person's vehicle, just a vehicle for nutcases... Seriously though, there are a lot of snobby assed H1 owners who hate H2s with a passion. There are also defectors like Buckeye. He helps people not be fat, so maybe he is bucking Mac's trend

I was down in Kentucky over X mas and saw a H1 and flashed the lights at him and he flashed and waved back.
Then on way home I pass a couple of H2 and wave but nothing back

I have run into that several times myself.

My addition to the H1 profile database:
33 yrs old, not fat, but I am balding.

Scott,

It's a sin here to not post pictures of your rig (many of them). Stupid Hummer tricks are welcome too.

I had a feeling you were going to anger me by showing a water pick. We just don't have any agua out here you lucky SOB. That is cool terrain.
Who put the can opener on your rock rails? It looks like something grabbed and pulled. Here is a pic of my rails I had installed about a month ago. They're steel, not aluminum and have taken some nice hits without even a dent.

Remember to resize your pics down so they fit on the screen. This will keep us from scrolling side to side. Cool rig!

Here's another rail shot:

THAT IS A SWEET PIC!!

Can you upload it here so it pops up?

Where was this taken? Water looks at least 2' deep.

THe rock rails were just diamond plate crap that AMG used to put on some of these. I will be putting Rubber Duck's Rock Tubes on soon. This was just the fun way of removing the old stuff.

This is at Kinzalow Trails in TN. The National Club will have an event here in May. You should come out. All the H1 guys say that these are pretty much the most hardcore trails on this side of the country. BTW, we had to leave the H2 at the hotel. You know, tie rods and all. (Does this make me a troll?)

You're a hop, skip and a jump from my hometown of Columbus too damn far from L.A.

More dry stuff. This was a pretty scary climb. You know the type. You get out to see what's in front of you and you can't get the damn door open, darn gravity.
